I've noticed a handful of topics over the last few days about people being finally finding a copy, or people saying they can't wait to play it but they can't find it anywhere. You could just download it >_>

I greatly prefer a physical copy too, but when I said "You know what? I need to go get Fire Emblem" and no nearby stores had it, I downloaded it ten minutes later.

Why would you pay the MSRP of a digital game when you can get the physical version for cheaper? And once again the age old what if 3DS breaks or gets stolen or whatever? You'd lose all your games vs with physical copies you'd only lose one. Both are very unlikely, but going digital on consoles unless there really isn't any other option? Never I say.

Of course some people are not willing to settle.

I got the digital version as well. Picked up a cheap 3DS from craigslist specifically for the game and didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to find the game. Was able to play the game that same night (would've had to wait till the next day for stores to even open).

And to temgun, the TC never said anything about getting a whole collection of digital games, just FE:A which was hard to find a physical copy of.

Buying games digitally that you can buy physically is cancerous.

Cancerous to whom? Buying digitally helps out the respective company more.
