And perhaps, if Miyamoto actually would let the Mario series have some world-building (UNLIKE STICKER STAR) the player might actually feel bad about having to separate Mario and Kirby if they start to bond.

"Save our worlds because it's the right thing to do, but lose this valuable friend and this other world I grew to cherish so much."
