Seriously how long does it take to upload a couple MB rom of Zelda Oracle Ages/Seasons to the eShop so we can buy it?

Why do we have to wait months for a game release over 13 years ago and recently released in Japan already?

Because Nintendo thinks trickling their titles over the course of a couple months is a good idea.

It's not just "uploading a rom". It's also about preparing marketing, legal fees, negotiating with and compensating those who developed the game for royalties, preparing a digital manual, having that digital manual copyrighted, etc.

It's a process to go from "rom" to "eShop Release." You can see how it snowballs.

they could release it today if they wanted too... but they are just stalling it to probably release in July or something when they have nothing to release.

Only the companies involved with the game development get money for each copy sold.

ESRB rating.

I would guess since it's already rated, and they're not changing or adding content, the ESRB would pass it off fairly quickly with it's old rating.

Its to avoid saturation, apparantly 1 VC title every 2 weeks is Nintendo's saturation point

ESRB rating.

They already have ratings. They were released after the rating system went into effect. The delay is probably related to getting them ready for the GBC Emulator.

As far as July the announcement said the would be available before the summer. My guess is we'll see them middle of next month.
