Is the gameplay really good? I never play Zelda games. The 3ds XL looks really cool. And it's not too much money.

No. The rest of the 3DS' library sure is.

But Ocarina of Time 3D is indeed a bloody amazing game.
Why are you NOT listening to White Skies when you could be listening to White Skies?!

I can't really recommend buying a whole system for one game. Having said that the 3DS is full of awesome games and Ocarina of Time is one of those great all time games. If you have never played it then yes, definitely get this Zelda game. It is widely considered one of the best games ever made.

I'll echo the others: if you haven't played Zelda:OOT, it is a masterpiece and a wonderful addition to the 3DS library. Definitely worth retail price of $39.99 (especially with the addition of the Master Quest).

However, even if you are like me and played this title to death on the N64 (and the Gamecube...and the Wii), the 3DS version is the definitive version and worth a playthrough or two. That being said, in my situation, while I didn't feel justified paying full retail ($39.99) for this title, it was a steal at $17 this past holiday season.

No. A wii is cheaper, and the VC version of Ocarina is cheaper. Seeing as it's the same game without the visual facelift and more convenient inventory/map system just buy that instead.

Not in the slightest. For the rest of the 3DS library, absolutely.
