TWEWY and Chrono Trigger had fantastic characters that I legitimately cared for. TWEWY nearly had choked up a few times and I'm only a bit of the way through Chrono, I just got the Masamune

So yeah Chrono and TWEWY.

Almost every RPG I've ever played. Exceptions include anything by western developers (Elder Scrolls from Bethesda, for example) and rpgs where you create all the characters and don't get any character development (Early Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy, Pokemon)
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes adults flying through a portal in the sky.
