Dust gets under the screen through the speaker holes!

It's not like Nintendo was the only one. The PSP had the same problem.

I've honestly never had this problem with any handheld.

I don't understand how people get dust under their screens. Every time I read about it, I just imagine a really, really old place that hasn't been cleaned in years.

I put my 3DSXL in a pouch in my backpack yesterday, now there are three specks of dust under the screen.

It's so ****** idiotic. I send my 3dsxl back because od dead pixels, got a perfect one in return, and now there are two spots that irritate the hell out of me.

I cant speak for the XL but I did research on this before. If you look at tear down photos of the 3DS original you would notice that the screen is glued over the speakers in a way that it would be IMPOSSIBLE for this to happen. If you have dust under the screen (I did) its likely a manufacturing error.

Well, i have dust now under my xl screen. It was not there before.

How did you get it out


If you freeze the handheld at a low enough temperature, the particles will be compact enough to just slip out of the speaker holes.
