Hope it turns out well. Ever since Twilight Princess I've struggled to get back into the series. I only got 3 dungeons in in Twilight Princess, and although I sort of want to give it another shot, I have absolutely no desire to do the intro again.

That's what they're always saying. I'm surprised they didn't mention going for a darker athmosphere like they usually do.

If he is talking about aLttP2 that's obviously a load of BS. Judging from the trailers and what we already know about the game it's everything but a significant departure from the way most Zeldas are played.

The only thing that could be described as a departure would be if there was no set order in which you play every dungeon in the entire game. For some reason I just don't see that happening but we'll see.

I don't know if I can take his word for it after what we've seen so far, it seems like the total opposite of a significant departure. We'll have to see more footage.

That's your opinion. I think it's about the puzzles and dungeons. Which is my opinion. And PH had some of the coolest puzzles I've seen in a while, same goes for SS. Linearity =/= bad.

What are you talking about? Even though you were confined to rails, Spirit Tracks has the best exploration the series has seen in a long time. Sidequests allowed for new paths to open up, and to this day, I'm still discovering new things.

Phantom Hourglass had poor exploration, but it was still better than TP's non-existent exploration.
