Probably never, considering one of the key aspects was battling and trading with other players and that would pretty much be impossible on a VC version.

That's a lazy excuse. It's 2013. There are plenty of ways to rectify this. Nintendo is either holding out, or planning a 3d classic version that they can charge more for.

I would buy it. I rarely used multiplayer in any of those games. I had a blast just going through it SP.

I would buy it. I rarely used multiplayer in any of those games. I had a blast just going through it SP.


This. Although, I would prefer Gold and Silver first because the cartridges no longer work properly.

There are VC games that support local multiplayer so....

I still have my old yellow cart though. Still want pokemon on VC anyways.
