I have AC:WW, and I played it for a couple of months long ago with my cousin (who bought it for me), but then things slowed down, and then I stopped playing it. I only played online with my cousin, since I knew no one else that had it. I haven't played it for years. Not sure why. Maybe the interest faded or my interests turned to other games, but anyways....

How much different is AC:NL? Is there a lot more to do in it vs WW? I'm afraid that if I get it and it is too similar, I may end up losing interest fast. I do have a few friends online that might have it, so if they are active in it, it might help me if I get it.

It has enough improvements to be recognized as a true sequel.

All AC games are extremely similar, but by series standards, NL is a huge leap forward. If you liked Wild World, definitely pick it up.
shoot the core.
