I'm sure all will be well, but I'm REALLY overprotective of my stuff. I can take out the card while it's closed and off and charging, to move pics from it to my PC, and then get the card back into the system before I turn the 3DS gets back on. Yeah?

I know it's an obvious question with an obvious answer, I just want to be totally sure before I do it.

as long as the system is off you can safely take out the SD card and back it up on a computer
