You have obviously never experienced VAT (whatever that added tax is in Europe) and digital goods. Try redeeming set from MTGO and have it shipped to you. LOL.

You weren't charged tax when you added funds to your account, you just think you were.

You already know how to avoid paying tax at checkout.

What was the problem, again?

He got charged an extra 70 cents to add funds to the 3ds. Then when he buys a game he gets charged tax to buy the game, which isn't his complaint. He doesn't know why he got charged the 70 cents to put money onto the 3ds
