Thinking of buying a 3DS... is A LInk to The Past available in the eshop, and if so, can the 3DS run it?

There is no "regular" Eshop -_-. And if that game is the only reason you would get a 3DS,then dont even bother.

I have an emulator on my computer, but it's not very comfortable to play at my desk. Plus, to get a SNES and A Link to The Past would be more expensive than you think, which is why I'm thinking handheld.

You could play it on a DS. Granted it has to be the GBA version of it.
