I've never done it before. I may just want to add $10. My concern is, is it safe and a good alternative to buying the prepaid cards?

Will it recognize the funds added right away? That's what I'm curious about. Will I get an e-mail saying that funds have been added, like with the PSN?

No it's not.

There is no pay with credit card option on the system.

It's a fishing scam that steals your credit card info.

I suggest you take your system back to Gamestop to fix it.

It's absolutely safe (well to my knowledge since this is how I've purchased games. I mean, no online purchasing is safe, but you get what I mean.). The funds are added immediately, but I'm not sure if it's taken out of your account immediately or not. Probably a day or so.
She was walking on a stage after the play was over. Who now could say it had ever happened.

All in all, it's safe, but lack of emails does feel icky. PSN sends notifications for funds added to wallet and for every purchase. The only mail I ever got from Nintendo is their Club Nintendo newsletter. I can view the receipts on the 3DS and that's it. :/

Online bank statements as in saying funds were removed from the account, correct? I'm new to using a debit, so that's why I'm (overly) concerned here.

yes, my bank itemizes each transaction when you buy something. (time, place, how much, etc).

I can even setup alerts when a new transaction happens to get a text.

You should check out what your bank offers.

Yes, it's safe and, yes, funds added show up immediately.

It's a lot better than getting prepaid cards because you can choose to just add only the necessary funds to your wallet to complete a purchase.
