They would have to change a lot including the ev/iv system and add abilities and such but I wouldn't mind 3d classics of red and blue

Highly doubt Game Freak would take the time to revamp the IV and EV system for a Pokemon Bank compatible version of Red and Blue.

That's not Virtual Console. That's rebuilding a good portion of the game. We call that an enhanced port.

It will have to a full blown remake, and that would make no sense if you already can acquire the Kanto starters in X/Y.

If only there were enhanced ports of the original games which updated the games in line with the more modern entries... Maybe call them Flame Red and Grass Green?

super awesome being able to play pokemon red/blue without worrying about a save battery would be awesome
