Sounds like a very polarizing game alright.
Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

Okay, I'd hate to be "that guy" and seem like an apologist/damage control guy, but does Eurogamer like anything?

I mean, it seems like every review I ever read by them, even games they gave high scores, seem to have a lot of criticism of various things in their reviews, and with very little consistency.

That said, I'm not even interested in Tomodachi Life, I'm just asking.
I imagine Bethesda's Quality Testing Department a big, dusty room filled with cobwebs, and a chimp wearing a Fez banging on the keyboard of a single computer...

I don't know if they actually like video games.

I try to be open minded, but it's hard to be open minded to close-mindedness.
If people want the Wii U Cheaper, and the cost of the White model is already the price of the 3DS XL, are they saying they want it the same price as a 3DS?

Never noticed eurogamer being especially hard on games. Gamespot, on the other hand...

I am glad to see this. I was worried about it being more watch than play so a negative review like this is helpful to me. From what Eurogame said about TL despite the hilarious things we've seen about the game I'd probably quit after an hour. I was hoping for a bit more control like the Sims.

The writer did a fine job of backing up his score.

Depends what you consider a video game. Tomodachi life is not what I would consider one.
Latest game(s) crossed off my backlog: Operation C.

I don't think animal crossing is a video game either, but people love that crap
