I have low standards myself. Fates story and characters didn't even reach my low threshold for being entertaining. I loved Awakening's characters enough to put over 700 hours largely in part to see the different convos in Future's Past. I only got a little over half of that playtime in Fates. Although the revised way getting skills also helped lower that amount. I really did enjoy Fates. However it was for the fun of screwing around with the class system that I got my fun.

I'm going to buy the game regardless I just don't know which version to get. I might just get Revelations.

Personally fates story is basically a bit cliché. For a fantasy story I enjoyed it.

You kinda have to, because you can't buy Revelation on its own.
