My 3DS XL ( just one c stick ), has been fine for the last few months. But lately the c stick has been very loose so when I push it down up left or right it doesn't go back to its neutral position, how do I fix this? Preferably without going and shipping it off to Nintendo if you can do that in the UK, and without completely un screwing it and removing everything.

I've seen people pull theirs out and replace it with a psp stick.. could try that.

How would I go about pulling it out without damaging it? And do you know what caused it to behave like this?

It depends if you still have warranty, if you do you can send it in to Nintendo to fix for free, other wise repairs are like $90 bucks. I opened a ticket for the same issue.

I ended up just buying a New 2DS XL.
