I always prefer stretch mode (as opposed to original aspect ratio) whenever possible. Desktop wallpaper? Stretch. Genesis games on PS3? Stretch. PS2 on a widescreen TV? Stretch. I get the feeling I already know the answer, though...

No, but you can do the opposite and make it pixel-perfect by holding down start/select when you boot.

I thought you could stretch the screen by pressing the "L" button. Maybe I'm just remembering that wrong though...
To err is human. To blame your computer for your mistakes is even more human.

I think that was on GBA only...

I actually made this post because I had just learned about that GBA functionality.

How unfortunate. I also learned of the Game Boy border, but it makes the screen even smaller. Maybe if/when I get an XL...

Stretching distorts the image quality. 90% of people don't like this setting because of that so I'm guessing that's why Nintendo did not allow stretching.
I like games and anime. My favorite games include the following: Mother 1-3, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Cross, Zelda LA-ALttP-OoT-MM-ALBW, and Super Smash Bros.

I don't know you, and I don't want to know you. In case I accidentally see a screen of yours with a stretched image. Eww.

I like to actually be able to see when I play a game.

Stretching the screen is counter-productive if that's your goal.

I'm sick of off topic threads and abusive mods.
