My second one did....we arrived at the hospital at 8.30...by 9.15 he had popped out. Much quicker than the first, although i guess my wife had got the hang of it by then :D
PS: fingers broken !! :o what did you say to her lol..... don't say it again :P
Jeez you guys have lucky wives/friends! Shortest labor I had to help with was 3 1/2 hours, longest 9 hours 45 minutes. I didn't say anything bad Goldie >____> I was the hand holder and with a 9 hour labor + no epideral = broken fingers. Mamas be cray cray strong.
I'm planning on going drug-free for my labor.
I'm scared. Lol.
Well I’ve assisted in the delivery of 100’s of babies all without the use of drugs and the mothers were all fine and never complained of anything. Of course when I say babies I mean calves and being cows, the mothers really couldn’t really articulate any concerns they may have had. Also I was out of my head on the Ketamine that was meant for the calving cow, But it all seems pretty similar to me and as such I wouldn’t worry ;-)
Haha! I just got that. NO. I wasn't implying anything secret silly. I was trying to stay 'on topic' but I really don't think people mod anymore unless it's offensive so it probably wasn't necessary. In another news, Trench is icky.
Haha. I helped birth a calf once. Pretty messy but cool. Ketamine on the other hand was just messy.
Ah well then you'll be quite prepared! Yup it is pretty messy (and cool) but once you've seen birth on that scale there won't be much to shock you. All that remains is to leave you with this top tip. Do not (as my brother did) ask if "it's supposed to look like that" when handed your newly born :-)
