Capcom exec and legendary Mega Man designer, Keiji Inafune, has teased the announcement of Resident Evil 6.
In a recent interview with Spanish website 3D Juegos, Inafune said the success of Resident Evil 5 meant that Capcom is keen on getting a new title in the acclaimed horror franchise out soon.
"Given the great success that supposed for us Resident Evil 5, we want that Resident Evil 6 leaves as rapidly as possible to the market. In fact, you will shortly have the news of Capcom about this..." said Inafune.
Capcom recently said it would be involving its Western arm more in the game development process in order to avoid any repeats of the Resident Evil 5 'racism' controversy.
Nice. Maybe Revelations will have some tie-ins to the game.
Who needs to get a life? You think getting chased down your street by roaches big enough to make you their ***** is a life? - Aight_Then
I will be surprised if we get an RE6 this console generation. Also please oh please make it scarier... like an above poster said RE5 was a good game, just not a good RE. Hopefully they make it in not some sun drenched 3rd world nation, takes the fun out of it. I want a racoon city esque outbreak and mix in different weather environments/storms/fog/etc.
