RE5's death scenes for main characters were censored, both cut and uncut versions. RE4 had the most gruesome deaths in all Resident Evil series, and now I am hoping for Resident Evil Revelations not to be censored.
Now since we all know RE: Mercenaries to feature both RE4's and RE5's (and possibly new stages), that means we'll be fighting Ganados again, and maybe Garaddor and even Mr. Sunshine (that huge guy with double chainsaws), it'll be stupid if they censored that, too.
Re4 had quite a few besides decapitation. For instance, there was getting impaled, bitten until death by regenerators/dogs, getting his face burned off by acid, stabbed, crushed by a rock, I think eaten, and pulled into a smelting pit.
Remember... if it's slightly complicated, there is a wikia for it.
