It's kinda got the same gimmick as the DS, what with the touch screens, two screens, but it also has 3D support, and is about as powerful as a console from the previous generation. It's a pretty decent upgrade.
Guys, I didn't hit 100% of the notes, why am I not getting 100%? - TravisCombs
I don't mean to sound nasty, but I think it should be obvious that this isn't just an upgraded DS. 3D's a massive jump for an upgrade to make so it's unlikely that it's just an upgrade. There's also the fact that on GameFAQs, the 3DS and DS sections are seperate. Finally, a little bit of research would show they're different.
I was hoping to come up with a question while I was objecting, Your Honor... I didn't.
Nintendo handhelds have a bad reputation of making pointless upgrades just to get more cash, gameboy micro, gameboy SP, gameboy lite, DSi, ds lite
I'll give it to you that GBA Micro, GB Lite, and DSi were pointless upgrades intended to milk more money out of the consumers, but in no way were the GBA SP and the DS Lite pointless. Those we're necessary remodels. What were they thinking with the shape of the GBA and the DS? I can't believe they made the same mistake twice.
Must have: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Paper Mario, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Donkey Kong Country Returns.
