Eh, I was hoping for something more. I kind of see this game as a fetch-quest kind of game, and there really doesn't seem to be much of a story at the moment except for that I know I need to grab these "Royal Stickers". I guess I'm one of the "Hate it" guys, because I feel that Nintendo went and took out what made the first and second games good in SPM and PM3DS.
Eh, whatever. I haven't seen the entire game, but as far as the game goes with combat and story flow, it doesn't seem to be holding up if you compare it to the first two Paper Marios. I won't really go into too much detail (Trying to avoid TL:DR), but I'll just say this.
King Yoshius IV, ill-fated King of the Yoshi Legacy. Find out his story at: http://flipnote.hatena.com/53175720CC747192@DSi/
I'd say that I love it. I was really skeptical before playing it (erring towards hating it), and I know that TTYD and PM are amazing games (that do top this one but a small margin), but this game is still fantastic. I do think that people reaaally shouldn't judge this game that harshly without playing it themselves. Footage and reviews really do not add up to the real deal.
That said, it isn't for everyone and I'll gladly concede that this is a love-it, hate-it sort of game.
