Did I mess up catching Black Kyurem?

  1. So I got to the part where Ghetis forces me to fight black Kyurem and I stopped him like I was suppose to, I think. I kind of figured I was suppose to catch him while he was fused, but it kept on saying that Ghetis's cane was stopping me from using any pokeballs. I went on like normal following what the other characters were telling me what to do so I went to the Pokemon League and I beat them expecting some event for me to try to catch black Kyurem. Did I screw up or is there still achance to catch him down the line, or am I suppose to catch a regular Kyurem and import my Zekrom from my white version to get black Kyurem?

  1. I don't think you're meant to catch Black/White Kyurem. Remember, because it is a fusion of Reshiram/Zekrom with Kyurem, it is effectively catching two Pokemon with one Pokeball.

Even if you were to be able to catch him, catch all of N's Pokemon during the course of the game and head to N's Castle near Victory Road. Go through the castle, finish the stuff there, then go to Dragonspiral Tower - it can be found northeast of Mistralton, through Twist Mountain, then past Icirrus.

Note that I don't recommend using your Master Ball there. Just so you know. Bring a Pokemon with False Swipe to lower the legend's HP to 1 and someone to status it, then toss Dusk Balls at it. If not nighttime, then just adjust your DS/3DS clock or wait.

  1. You can get another chance of getting Kyurem durring post game after you capture all of Ns' Pokemon and go through his castle again while getting Rashi or Zekro from the dragon spiral tower.

  2. Don't need to catch all N's Pokemon. You also can't catch Black/White Kyurem directly. You can only catch regular Kyurem and fuse it with Zekrom or Reshiram.
