  2. Root Fossils are extremely rare and are found only in the Sinnoh Underground. It might take a while to find it. I haven't found one yet, but I do have 40++ Skull Fossils.

  5. First, obtain the national pokedex by beating the elite four, seeing every pokemon and talking to professor rowan. then use the explorer kit that you obtain in eterna city (house to the right of pokemon center) and go underground. use the scanner to find sparkles in the rock walls. dig into the walls and keep doing it until you find the root fossil. im pretty sure they are rare so good luck.

  9. Just go to Enterna city where you get your second badge then, go to a house where an old dude will give you an explorer kit. Make sure you have seen 151 pokemon. If you have diamond and don't know where to find palkia or pearl and couldn't find dialga. First beat the elite four, then go to celestic town to find old lady where she has a book and she'll show you either palkia or dialga then go to sandgem town to get professor Rowan to give you a national pokedex. Then look in your bag to find the explorer kit then go to the underground and dig on sparkly walls till you find a root fossil.

  12. First, you must have the National Pokedex. For that, you must see all pokemon in Sinnoh Pokedex (Manaphy won't counted) and defeat the Elite Four and Cynthia. When you get it from professor Rowan, use your Explorer Kit to go the Underground. Digging there helps you to obtain Root Fossil, sooner or later. Or if you're impatient one, you may trade it from someone, who has it in his/her own game. I bet there are owners of many Root Fossils, even if they are not fossil freaks.
