Have fun with a little brain workout!

So, a guy named Dr. Kawashima decided to make a game that works your brain to prevent it from getting lazy. After the age of 18 or so, most people's mind starts hardening if it is not used to do simple things like doing math, reading, so on. That may not sound to bad, but not using your brain can actually lead to several different brain disorders and problems like Alzheimer’s. This game was such a hit in Japan, its actually being used as a treatment.

The object of the game is to simply do a few brain exercises per day and to get your Brain Age down to 20. There is also a 100 sudoku puzzle portion of the game.

Gameplay 9/10 - The game is VERY easy with many simple tests to play. Every test is well explained, there are options for being able to take tests with or without the microphone, and it even considers handedness.

This game SHOULD, seeing as the type of game it is, get a full 10. However there are two draw backs. The infamous "blue" problem. Saying the word blue on certain tests will NOT register. Also, hand writing recognition can occasionally be a little shoddy. Both problem can be avoided, but the player must be careful.

Graphics/Sound 7/10 - For what it is, this game has good graphics. Nothing is ambiguous, and the floating head of Dr. Kawashima is cute. The game doesn't require stellar graphics, so the fact that they are just slightly above average is not a hindering thing.

Play Time/Replayability 9/10 - You can get to the goal of having a 20 as your brain age VERY quickly, but to unlock everything, you could put in several hours into the game. The sudoku puzzles should keep most amused for a while, and the game is truly meant to be played a little every day. This is a title that is a little difficult to tire of.

Final Recommendation 8/10 - This game is cheap, fun, and actually beneficial. There is an option for 4 different saves, so it could be good for the whole family, and also, you can set it up to demo for other people to play. I would recommend buying this one.
