  1. I have a feeling that in in the Bowhole B3 after you kill a Drakularge you have (?)% chanche to encouter a liquid metal slime.
And that made me thinking, what if it works with everykind of monster?

Does anybody know if this is true?

  1. Fighting the Drakularges has no effect on whether or not you'll encounter a Liquid Metal Slime in the Bowhole: it's totally random. Just keep walking around until you spot one, then rush over before it spots you.

While the Bowhole is a decent place to raise your levels during the main game, afterwards the plateau just outside of Angel Falls has it beat: there it's all slime, all the time! You'll encounter most of the varieties of simes and nothing else: from your standard blue to the Liquid Metal variety. Even better, you'll often encounter them in multiples, which can't be said for the Bowhole. The only issue is that you can only get there by landing in the Starlight Express, which can only be done post-game.

  2. Eh, no real percent chance they will drop. It all happens to be random. Just run around until they drop.

  3. Your chances don't increase based on your last encounter, though it may be comforting to think as such.

If you're in the Bowhole, the best option is to head to the stairway that takes you to B4, then park yourself on the top-right corner near it, just above the flight of stairs. As long as you don't move, the monsters will spawn, then walk up the steps, allowing a constant stream of monsters to spawn until you finally get a liquid metal slime. If you feel it's taking too long to spawn, just take the stairs down to B4, climb back up, then put yourself back in that corner.

  4. It's pretty much random whether they appear. Liquid Metal Slimes also appear in some Grottoes, again, it seem to be random and they will often appear plentiful on a certain floor and never appear on other floors. When you find a Grotto that has liquid metal slimes, keep going back to that Grotto. Some visits they barely appear, other times the place is crawling with them. And if you can kill a couple of them, you get a large exp reward, in the multi-thousands. Good luck!
