  1. Fire is aggressive, mainly for attacks, Water is for defense, and Electric is for speed. Normal and Grass are all spread out. There is no "best starter". It's mainly just you're opinion.

  1. The best ? for you, idon't know what the best right , You select type fire, and water or electrice and grass is good but not the best .... like Pikachu , Cyncaquil , Chikorita , and other .... You like. My the best (but is good no best ...) is Pikachu with discharge can attack all enemy in the room , Cyndaquil can quick attack, Flamae thrower ???, and other , Chikorita can use he moves (i not remmeber). ... For information the good for started you started type water and Electrice , fire , grass , ect for you started is grass/fire/ect you must partnet type water (but is not he very very best .......)

  2. First time I beat the game wth chimchar+mudkip and
    second time with mudkip+charmander.
It was easyer with my first combo but only because I was controling the fire type pokemon .
In both cases the pokemon learn flametrower/hydro pump and mudkip learns endeaver what is a realy good attack for bosses.

  3. I would choose a water pokemon that can lift it's weakness to fire.
Or maybe something else that can learn a water-type move.

  5. It's preference really. Charmander and Pikachu are probably some of the most used.
My starters were Chimchar and Mudkip as my first profile and my current file.

  6. Okey , my team started first is mudkip and chikorita , 2nd chikorita and cyndaquil , and now piplup and cyndaquil is my team. You can use tactic and use your pokemon team use move ideal is can attack all enemy in room or no in one title attack.

  7. The best combonation is one where you type-trump your partner.
that means the type that is super effective against you is vulnerable to your partner.

Example: Cyndaquil and Chikorita, if I was in a water dungeon chikorita would defend me.

If youre pikachu then get a Grass type partner. (Pikachu is vulnerable to ground, grass type defeats them.) If youre normal then just choose any of them.

  8. I was Pikachu and my partner was Mudkip and I completed the game in a day.
I also was Pikachu and my partner was piplup and completed the game in a few hours.
    Either one will work.
But if you are pikachu make sure you give it the following moves:
Thunder bolt, Dig, Discharge, and agility.

  9. I say turtwig and mudkip because turtwig heals better. Mudkip can beat dialga or palkia with a ground move.

  10. I'd go with Pikachu and Squirtle (my starting team). They both learn a good variety of moves. Pikachu is a fast hitter; Squirtle is a tank. Squirtle as a partner can take the brunt of the blows from enemies (as long as they don't have a type advantage). Water Pulse from Squirtle can confuse enemies, and Pikachu's Thunderbolt will zap multiple enemies at once.
