something wrong in Earth Temple?

  1. So I'm in the large room with all of the mirrors...even looked at a walkthrough, says I need to move the statues on the on southeast and southwest part of the problem? The southeast statue moved right into its little slot and reflected the mirror..the other one won't move. I have restarted the temple three times won't move...any ideas?

  3. Additional Details:
The room before hand has the two screaming red eyed creatures in then go and climb up on a block in the middle of the room and up into the next room in question. There are two scorpion statues on the southeast and southwest side of the room when Link looks down into it. The center of the room requires that Mendli fly up and hit the switch to activate the hole in the center of the room to let light shine down. Then you are supposed to push or pull the scorpion statues on their little paths the southeast one to the right a little and the southwest to the right a little...welll the one of the left doesn't move. I've used bombs to try to get it to budge...I've pulled and pushed from all sides and it won't move. I can't go any further without moving this statue and shining light on different things to get the master key. Well at least I think that's what you get in this room, I don't know yet. Anyway, I hope that all helps and that someone can tell me if there is another way I need to move this statue or something. Thank you

  1. I did the Earth Temple last week, so I remember this room very well.

Anyway, you're doing something wrong. If the mirror won't move, it's because it's not meant to. Look around the room, and see if there's absolutely anything else you can do. Look for those yellow swirls in the room that need light shone on them.

Remember that along with all the scorpion mirros that you can move, you also have Medli and Link's Mirror Shield to reflect light beams. It's very complex, but using the combination of the scorpion mirrors, Medli and Link, you should be able to reach most of the yellow swirls, and uncover everything in the room. To complete the room, you need to form with a zigzag of four scorpion mirros on BOTH sides of the room.

If you're still stuck, read a walkthrough.

  1. OK, I have not played that game in so long that I don't know if I can help you much, but I will try... Have you tried shining light onto the mirror itself? If I recall corectly, some objects are weak to light, and their outer casings shatter when light shines on them. If that doesnt work (of course I assume you have obtained the mirror sheild) try to shine light on another mirror in the room, or move a scorpion block so you can shine light through the hole it covered... if you found this answer completely useless (which it probobly is), I would suggest checking out DarthMarth's walkthrough for the game. it is really helpful.

  2. I don't think all of the statues in that room are supposed to move. All the moveable statues have a path which they are pushed/pulled along to their final destination, where they click into place. Look around the base of the one you are having trouble with. If it doesn't have a pathway, it won't move. Some of the mirror statues are hiding behind walls. Look for a sun spot symbol on the walls and reflect light at them. The light will break the wall and reveal a statue. I don't have the game right in front of me, but I'm guessing it's actually a different statue that you need to put into place to continue. Look around the whole room and follow the pathways you see from their destination to their beginning point. (The final destination point for each mirror statue is lowered and has a symbol in it.)

  4. If it dosen't move it probably isn't sopossed to because if it has rocks covering the bottom it will not move what ever you try.

  5. As said before, you need to check around the base of the statues to see whether they can move. If it can't, leave it. If it can, move it until it locks into position. If there are no more statues to move then you need to control Medli and make her stand on top of the round podiums. Then make her reflect the light in the right corner and then use link to re-reflect the light on the walls, crumbling them and revealing another statue.
