"Welcome back, to the stage of History!"

Soul Calibur strikes again with a second and better game added to the series. All of your favorite characters from Soul Calibur 1 have gone to Soul Calibur 2. Except for a few characters...

Gameplay 10/10

Soul Calibur 2 will NOT disappoint you with its gameplay the least bit at all. It’s a one on one fighting game where you can move eight ways. The weapons you have are mostly blades; a few have different weapons to attack with though, like a rod or numchucks. There are many new features added to this Soul Calibur. Like weapon master mode for instance, in the first Soul Calibur, you could only have one weapon for your character. Now in weapon master mode, you are able to unlock weapons for your character.
This review is for the GameCube so, the GameCube’s special character is Link from the Legend of Zelda series. Although Link can be out matched by most of the other characters, doesn’t change the fact the he’s cool! So don’t worry about the gameplay of Soul Calibur 2, if you like ANY fighting games, you will DEFINITELY like this one.

Graphics 10/10

If you have played Soul Calibur 1 and thought the graphics were unbelievable, then you should see this games graphics! It has improved SO much from the first Soul Calibur. I can GUARANTEE you that the graphics of Soul Calibur 2 won’t disappoint you at all.

Sound/Music 10/10

Well, some people listen to the backround music, and some people listen to the fighting that’s going on. Well, listen to BOTH! Both the music and sound effects in this game are VERY good indeed! Each stage has its own music. The characters actually speak English in this Soul Calibur, unlike the first one.

Replay Value 10/10

Trust me on this one, when you beat the game, you will keep coming back again and again and again. If you think you’re too good at the game and that you’ve mastered it, challenge a harder difficulty level, because there’s a bunch of them to master. It will most definitely take you more than two days of playing the game to master EVERY difficulty. In fact, you might not even be able to do it.

Overall 10/10

If you’re looking for a good fighting game, get Soul Calibur 2. It’s a great fighting game and will keep you busy for hours!

And no, this review did not come from a fanboy.
