Review by Monstro_Man

"Pikmin's back! Tell a friend!"

I got this game for Christmas. I thought "hey... It can't be too bad, huh?", but I ended up thinking "Man! This is the best game ever!!!" It's really a great game with innovative gameplay and hours of fun. Once you get this game, you'll never want to put it down until you beat it.

This game's gameplay is magnificent. It's so innovative... It's kinda hard to get white and purple pikmin though. And, you have unlimited time to beat it, unlike the first in the series. Shigeru Miyamoto did an amazing job with this game. All the caves in the game are amazing. The bosses and enemies are fun to kill. The game will test your physical reflexes in battle and your mental power thinking up strategies to get treasure and escaping sublevels without losing too many pikmin. This is an amazing game. The multiplayer is amazingly fun.

STORY: 6/10

Meh. This really isn't this game's strong point... But still, don't take that as a reason not to buy this game! It's a must-have. Here's a rundown of the story: After returning to Hocotate, Captain Olimar finds out his company is going dow. They have a 10100 poko debt to repay. Louie, a low-ranked employee was carrying the most important delivery of all: golden pikpik carrots. He was attacked by a ravenous space bunny! The boss took out a massive loan to repay it, and sold everything - including the S.S. Dolphin - but one old talking ship. Olimar drops a souvenir for his kid and the ship says it's worth 100 pokos! That may seem pitifully low but hey, that's more than a year's salary on Hocotate. Talk about low economy. Now Olimar and Louie must go to Pikmin Planet to get more treasure to repay the massive debt. Not the best storyline of all...

This isn't too bad. The music for some levels is pretty good. I really liked the Bulblax Kingdom music. The music fits in well with where you are. The sound is good too. You can hear the snores of sleeping bulborbs and the moans of dying animals. It's quite good.

The graphics are pretty good. The atmosphere is good too; the ground and walls of places fit in with what they're called. The Valley of Repose is a snowy area with lots of danger. The Perplexing Pool has a whole lot of water, and lots of plants near it. It's amazing.

This is an amazing game. I recommend it to anyone who's looking for something new. Shigeru Miyamoto's newest masterpeice is truly a masterpiece.

BUY!!!! You MUST buy this game. It's a must-have. If you're low on money, hint about it for your birthday or something, but every avid gamer must have this game. It's made by the creator of the Legend of Zelda, so do the math. It just has to rock.
