"Buttered Toast"

The extremely popular cartoon Ed, Edd n Eddy is now available as a video game. You have to make use of all three characters to advance and beat the game.

Game play- 7
The game is not particularly hard, but it does get rather tedious towards the end. The controls are easy enough to master, but actually knowing when to use what character can be very perplexing. Fighting the enemies(mostly animals) can be very frustrating also, because your weapons don't work as well as they should most of the time. This game is also incredibly short. All in all, the game is fun, just so long as you don't get stuck.

Graphics- 5
Not the best in the world. You get the main idea from the graphics, but compared to some of the other games of this day and age, I'd say these definitely lack. They are in 3-D however, which helps to make up for the minimal effort put into the making of the characters. In nutshell, if you're looking for a game only for its graphics, keep looking.

Sound- 8
The sound is actually very enjoyable. When you pause, you hear the actual Ed, edd, n Eddy theme song, which is a neat bonus. The in-game sounds and music are pretty realistic(a smashing sound when you smash something), and it makes the experience more enjoyable. Also, you get to hear each of the character's voices, and if you listen to the dialogue it can be quite humorous at times.

Plot- 4
There is none. You basically just go through each of the levels, which are called "scams," but you don't ever really know why. Each scam has its own miniature plot, but the actual game itself leaves a lot to be desired.

Replay Value- 5
This game is incredibly short, even with collecting all the items and getting 100%. It's worth another play through if you're bored, or if you are a HUGE fan of the show. I think it would be slightly fun to have another run through of it, but if you went back and acquired 100% the first time, you might already be sick of it.

Overall- 6
The game is fun, but isn't one of the best games around. I'd say rent it for a couple days, you'll probably beat it in that time span. If you're a big fan of the show, I'd say pick this game up. If not, you can probably find something better for your taste.
