"A great game to start out the release of a great system"

When I first got my GBA, the first game I got was Castlevania, I wanted to try it out to see how great it was and if it would be a first generation GBA game. After playing Symphony of the Night I wanted to see if it could surpass its predecessor in all ways.

The game is pretty tough to play, you need to train massively to get buy all the paths that cross you, the enimes are tough to defeat. It will be extremely hard to get buy the game w/o trying to die. It's similar in a way to Symphony of the Night for playstation in its 2D graphics and gameplay, so people familiar with that game will have no trouble adjusting to this.

The story is basically slim and very general to the point. Dracula has been res erected and you and your master come back to try to defeat him, well it seems the It's already past the master's time and he gets captured, and you and your companion are thrown off the ledge where you then have to go back up and defeat Dracula.

These graphics are superb for the GBA, they really detail the backround, and choreograph your enimes to perfection. all the characters look a little small and can be hard to see in the dimly reflected screen that can be a real bother at times.

Very creepy and eerie music that set the tone for the game, much like that of Symphony of the Night. It's scary and blends very well into the game, with a diversity of music it really doesn't annoy you like most games.

A very simple interface, that is easy to get the hang of and easy to follow. This won't detract from the game so you won't be fumbling the buttons to find the right action to do.

Replay Value6
Once you stop you probably won't want to play again unless you have nothing else to do with your time, although the game is long and will be enough in itself. You probably will spend atleast 15-25 hours of gameplay for your first time.

Buy or Rent:
I'd say you should buy it for your first GBA game to add to your collection, It's has long gaming hours for you to put in and it's a stunning RPG for its category.
