"Kirby's back and he brought his classic adventure to the GBA"
Kirby's back and his copying abilities has made it's way to the Gameboy Advance. If you didn't already know this game is a remake of Kirby's class NES game ''Kirby's Adventure''. Now with improved graphics, new modes, and the new 4 player link support this game is one that must be played.
Graphics - 9/10
WOW! The graphics are amazing. Each level is fully colored and the background is very well detailed. You will have no trouble see this game from your GBA. Each enemy is also very well colored and Kirby wear hats now to show what ability it has. The graphics in this game made a major improvement compared to the original one.
Sound/Music - 10/10
In my opinion I love the music to this game. It remixes so of my classic favorites and they added some new tracks too. The music goes very well with the game. Each level has their own music to make it match the surrounding area. The sound effects are also good in this game. Kirby actually says a few things in this game.
Story - 5/10
Well like most Kirby games it doesn't really have must of the story. All it tells you is that King Dedede has stolen all the star rods and Kirby must go on an adventure to recovers all 7 of them. That basically wraps up the intro to the story.
Gameplay - 7/10
Nothing is new if you already played any of the original Kirby games. You guide a little pink character using his ability to fly, slide, spit, swim, and jump. What makes even Kirby game unique is that you can suck up your enemies and copy their powers so you can use it for yourself. Using any of the 24 abilities you must guide Kirby through 38 levels and 9 bosses. Another thing added to this game is the new 4 player function. You can play the 3 mini-games found in the game with four people and only one game pak is needed. When all four has their own copy of Kirby NIDL you can play co-operative through the levels and bosses. The only downside to this game is that it is short. Probably can be completed within two hours
Replay - 8/10
If you a big Kirby fan like me you won't be able to put this game down. The hard mode allows you to play the game with an even harder difficulty. The replay for me in this game is pretty high but if you played any of the original Kirby games it is kinda like that. Once you know everything there's not much fun in it anymore.
Rent or Buy? For most people you better rent this before you buy it. Most people found this game very short. But if you're a Big Kirby fan you would buy this game.
Kirby fans will not be disappointed with this GBA port enhancement. Now with better graphics and multi-player function there's so many ways to play.
Reviewer's Rating: 4.0 - Great
