"This game is great, and really shows the power of the GBA"

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is a great game, with lots of sidequests, old faces and a high addiction-level. Once you put this in you Gameboy Advance you will love the graphics, and once this game will be translated, I can say for sure, the story will be great too! If you have never played a Zelda Game before, you will still understand it, because, as in every zelda game, you can learn everything by just talking to Non Playable Characters.

Story: ?/10

I don't speak Japanese, so I won't rate it. It seems to me that it will be like the story of The Four Swords, and Ocarina of Time, because the badguy is nobody else then Vaati, the Wind Mage from The Four Swords. You can change between your normal size, and a mini-size by using the Minish Cap, which the game is called after. With it you can enter the Minish Villages, where the Minish people live, and enter all kinds of small places. It seems that he is up to no good again, and breaks a sacred green sword, which you will use after two dungeons.

Gameplay: 8/10

The gameplay is great, you can easily get used to it, because it is so simple A/B are the action buttons, the D-pad is used for the movement, R is used to roll and to talk and L is used for the Kinstone quest. The Kinstone Quest is an in-game trading quest, with special stones you find troughout the game.

Grahics: 9/10

Once you turn the game on, you'll love the graphics, because of the high detail in the characters, the scenery and special effects, like mist in forest, waves on the sea, and bubbles in the swamp.

Sounds: 7/10

The sounds in the game are nice, but nothing special, and the sound of Link being weak, can be quite irritating. Luckily, there are lots of good tunes too, like the boss themes, and the story theme.

Replay: 8/10

The game is huge, and not only with the main quest, which features 5 main dungeons, and a final dungeon. The sidequests make this game even larger, the main sidequest is the Kinstone Quest, but there also is a God House Quest which gives you a new tunic temporary and new places to visit. Also, the game is so much fun, you'll want to replay it.

Verdict: 9/10

Get this game ASAP,because it is just wonderful. You can import it from Europe where it will be launched the 12th November 2004, but that will be expensive, due to the costs of games in Europe, though it will be worth the money. You can get the Japanese version, but only do that if you can read and know Japanese.
