Accepted Answer

  1. The only way is to start your game, pick one then play until you get the pokedex and pokeballs. Catch one "throwaway" pokemon then trade the starter to another game. Rinse, lather and repeat until you have all three.

  2. You need to trade with other games, that's the way it's been for all the games, and that's probably how it is going to remain.

  7. i actually know a really good and it might take sometime(i realize this topic is really old but everyone keep asking the same question) and you can't do it unless you're using No$GBA emulator(And if you want it and Pokemon emerald ROM PM me)
    1. open the game.
    2. go to "Options -> Emulation setup"
    3. Look for Emulated Gameboys and make it from 1 to 2.
    4. Another window will open then do "Options -> Controls setup" and change from "Define controls for player 1" into "Define controls for player 2" and change the options (up, down, left, right and the rest! but it shouldn't be the same for player 1)
5 play with it like the first save and then you can go to the next town and then to Petalburg City and you both(player 1 and 2) can go to the same pokemon center and then trade but you will have to do it 2 times(if you want to get the three) and of course you need Internet connection.

  9. I know this works for cloning at the battle tower but maybe it can work for starters too. Start a new game. Save before you get your starter. Then make it to a point where you can catch a pokemon and catch it. Then put your starter in a box in the PC. Save the game but right before it says "do not turn ofd the power." reset the game. If you load your game and you are at the point before you have your starter then it might have worked. so pick another starter and look in the PC box you put your first starter in. If it is there great!!! Repeat by putting in both your new starters.😎
