"Horray for Power Ran..err Zyuranger!"

Zyuranger, or also known as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the states, is pretty mediocre, actually. Zyuranger started the spawn of horrible Power Ranger games, except for Carranger, which was good. Don't expect to buy this anywhere, not only will you not be able to find it, you wont like it either, especially with the easy password system (only 3 slots, not that hard to crack). Angel, the company who made this, also made Temjin Sentai Jetman, which was a Japanese Power Ranger series that never go ported to the US. However, if you really want to try this game, your only hope is to emulate it (I hope it does hurt the company, because then they wont be able to make anymore horrible games)

Graphics - 8/10
The graphics aren't horrible, but not outstanding. The graphics are clear and crisp, but graphics don't make a game, which is probably Zyuranger's only strong point in this game.

Sound/Music - 5/10
The music is okay, but is nothing special, but the sound is awful. It's bleeps and bloops, which are supposed to be your weapon hitting, but you can't tell, really. All the sounds are pretty much the same sounds with different pitches.

Gameplay - 4/10
AAAAAAAAUUUUUUGGGGHHH. After playing this game you'll want to shoot yourself for playing this game. While playing this game, you'll be attacked by small snakes, putties, and a boss, repeat for 5 (give or take a few) levels, an this is Zyuranger. During the middle of the stage, you get your trademark weapon (depending on who is playing), The Yellow Ranger gets daggers, the Blue Ranger gets a lance, the Black Ranger gets an Axe, the Pink Ranger gets bows and arrows, and the Red Ranger gets a sword, noticeably missing is the badass Green Ranger, who I guess was too cool to be on this game. The movement and jumping in this game is awful, you'll start cursing after you keep dying to the same part, it's not challenge, it's FRUSTRATION. I gave it an extra 3 points for it's mini-game mode, which consisted of playing a hot potato like game, a pong game, and some other minigames which somewhat make up for the abysmal game. There's one more flaw in this game I'd like to point out, the password system, the password system consists of three slots, and three different keys used. That's 9 different possibilities for a password, but there's about 5 or so levels, how hard would it be to crack the password system? Not very hard, not very had at all.

Graphics - 8/10
Sound/Music - 5/10
Gameplay - 4/10

Overall (averaged) - 5/10
