"A sequel in spirit to Operation Wolf"

Operation Wolf was a classic light gun game which featured great graphics and awesome control, whether using the light gun or the controller pad. Mechanized Attack was released sometime later, and is basically a sequel in spirit to Operation Wolf.

Okay, the graphics are decent, especially for a NES game. Compared to other games released around its time, the graphics are pretty good but could have used a bit more variety and spice overall. The backgrounds and enemy designs are good, but not as good as they could have been.

The control is perfect, and although I think you can't use the light gun (a huge flaw), the controller pad works just as well.

This is your basic "shoot everytthing that walks" type of game. There are no good guys, so all you have to worry about is killing enemies. You basically use the controller pad to move the traget around, hitting enemies and stuff. You get grenades too, which is kinda cool.

If you were a big fan of operation Wolf, you'll like this game but will be a bit disapointed, considering Operation Wolf is better. Non fans will find little to please them.
