"Apparently spiking is a major part of volleyball"

Have you ever noticed a volleyball game on any of the current consoles? You probably haven't.... that's because there are no volleyball games around!! As a matter of fact, Super Spike Volleyball is the only volleyball video game that I know of. And how does it fare? Well, volleyball fans won't be dispaointed...

The backgrounds have a very nice beach look to them, and there is somewhat of a variety in the backgrounds. The character designs are solid, and the scoreboard in the background is good, but overall the graphics are pretty plain.

The control in the game is solid and responsive overall, but the spiking mechanics in the game are hard to perform, weird feeling, and overall not good.

You control a volleyball team (of 2 players) who go around on a tour playing various teams. The rules are just like real volleyball, and the game has all of the needed moves including digs, spikes, and other types of volleyball moves.

Volleyball fans will love this game, but non supporters won't find much to interest them. This game will be adored by all volleyball fans, simply because its the only choice in town.
