Better then the original for some odd reason
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun Firestorm is probably one of the better expansion packs in the C&C world. It (unlike the past ones) actually has a story line as a start and it has technically three sides (even though two of the sides uses the same technology). So the storyline is this: Cabal, Nod's super computer has mutinied and made his own army out of the Nod arsenal. Nod now must seek help with GDI to put an end to Cabal's reign or else man kind out be enslaved by this computer and that is much much worse then being enslaved by Kane for some reason. The Forgotten Ones (human infested Tiberium people that didn't die from the poisoning) have no role in this game so you won't see them at all.
Game Play 9/10: As like most expansion packs the different sides would get new units. Nod gets more Tiberium infested robots (reaper unit) while GDI get more upgrades and tanks (drop pod up grade). Cabal gets nothing but his own army (his color is blue in the game). Also like most expansion packs the game is supposed to get harder and again this is no different in this game but I do think it is easier then Red Alert's expansion packs. Lastly there are more Tiberium creatures you must deal with and they get pretty annoying if their are in your base messing every thing up. The missions it selves are easy just because once you do a critical thing right there is no way you can fail it unless you really suck at rts games.
Music 7/10: The music didn't change at all so there is no need to talk about it here.
Length 8/10: Each side gets ten missions this game. The last mission (again) is the most fun (in my opinion) because you get to fight a really big mecha unit (which is really powerful) and that the ending leaves you again with more questions then answers.
Controls 8/10: Again and again the mouse and key board does all.
I would get this game since it redeems Tiberium Sun. While Tiberium sun was ok, this game makes it seem worth it to pick up both and to play though all of them. Of course finding the original game cd could be hassle so your best bet is to pick up the first decade package in order to play this game.
Rating: 4.5 - Outstanding
