This game is very in depth to the amount of strategy you can use in it. There are plenty of resources and ways to do things. You can take over entire planets and start a living world and complete it with defense systems and food, etc. there is a 15 day free trial, but it costs $10 a month after that, but is well worth the cost for the amount of stuff it gives.
Some great graphics being made when it was made. You can easily tell what you are and who the enemy is. Everything is usually color labeled. Green being your, red the enemy. Nothing to fancy, simple is enough for some games.
The best thing I love about this game is the gameplay. While there isn't a large user base, it is large enough to have full scale galactic battles with other factions. The factions are: Kluth, ICC, and UGTO. Your goal is to help your faction take over the entire galaxy complete with thousands of planets. You get capture enemy planets, nuke enemy planets, etc. When you capture a planet you can start your own world and build things on it. Defense Systems are common on these planets to keep intruders away from them and also keep the resources and weapons away from the enemy.
There is also a great sense of strategy that goes along with this game. All factions have at least one planet on the front line. So you must keep those defenses up at all times. You can set up sneak attacks on enemy planets by sending a stealth corvette to spy on the enemy. That is just one of the many scenarios to this game.
There is really nothing to this sound. It really is just one song looping over and over. And of course you have to sound of laser beams and ship. Could be better, but thats not the point of the game.
There is no story. You just a choose a faction and play. There is some story to why the factions are at battle, but nothing that changes anything. A short paragraph or two on the main page.
This game is really awesome that will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next sneak attack. The only downside is that there isn't a large user base such as Guild Wars, or Wow. But that is also a upside since you don't have too many little kids and annoyances; also you see the same enemies almost everyday and same friends so you build respect for each other. A real enjoyable experience.
