"A great expansion"

Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion is an awesome expansion. But if you want to get this game, you need to have Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings on your PC before it will allow you to install this game.

This game basically has no story. All you do is defeat your enemies and win. But some of the campaigns have stories, but I don't know any of them.

Graphics: 10/10
These graphics are awesome! Everything in this game has been designed well. The Villagers look very good, along with Archers, Horses, Monks, Buildings, and much more.

Gameplay: 10/10
Playing through this game is fun. First, you select your civilization, color, teams, location, and game type, you start. Also, you pick the number of players too.

Using the Wood, Food, Gold, and Stone you collect from trees, mines, bushes, animals, and farms, you set up your village. Then, with the resources you gather, you advance through the ages (Dark, Feudal, Castle, and Imperial), researching stuff in the buildings you have up to make yourself better (researches can upgrade your army, give defense on your buildings, etc). Then go out and fight your enemies!

For game type, Regicide is really fun. You must kill your enemies Kings to win, protecting your own too.

Then, you have the online feature. When playing online, you can play with or against human players, with different types of connections to choose from too.

New Features
As this is an expansion, they included new features. There are 5 new civilizations in this: Huns, Spanish, Aztecs, Koreans, and Myans. There are new researches too, and most of them are good. There are more maps, and more campaigns too.

Sound Effects: 10/10
This game has great sound effects too. The sword slashing sounds great, and the death sounds of enemies are cool too. When you click on your buildings, they sound cool. And when you click on your people, they speak their language.

Music: 7/10
There isn't too much music in the game, so that's why this gets a 7. But during gameplay, there's background music, which isn't too bad. But you'll love the victory music when the game ends and you win.

Replayability: 9/10
As this is a strategy game, the game should never end. In standard games, if you've beaten it enough times, you can try a new civilization, or bump up the skill level. So this game can be played endless times.

Rent or Buy?
Go out and get this game. You'll love it. But as I said in the beginning of the review, you'll need Age of Kings first, so get that if you don't have it yet.
