Why can't my computer play LAN games?
I have three computers. Two can play LAN with each other fine, but the other one cannot. When the non-working comp hosts a game, the other two comps can see the game on the server list, but when they press the join button, it times out. When either of the other two comps host a game, the non-working comp cannot see the game on the server list.
(note: I have tried this on multiple games)

It's based upon the LAN settings for the computer, as well as the LAN itself. For example, my brother's computer can't host a game on our LAN, but when we used it on a friends LAN, it allowed it to host just fine.
Check the LAN settings in the router, as well as the computer in question and see if there is any incompatibility.
