Modify Player Count in One player mode
In this game, the difficulty of the monsters is normally based on the number of players in the game. When you have more players the monsters are tougher but give more experience, gold and item drops.
Code Effect /players x Sets the player count to "x" where x is a number from 1 to 8

Kill Strong Monsters in Town
NOTE: Works only for Necromancer. Go to the Bridge leading out of Kurast in Act III, and you should see a robed figure named the " Dark Wanderer". As soon as he walks for a bit, he teleports away and summons a few beasts to bash your skull. Right now, lead all of the monsters to the bridge, but summon any monster excluding a mage, and they should fight the enemies while you are still in the protection of the town. Your beast should fight the enemies, while the enemies themselves do nothing.

The Secret Cow Level
To get to the Secret Cow Level, you must have beaten the game on that difficulty, then go to the Rogue Encampment, take Wirt's Leg and a Tome of Town Portal into the Horadric Cube, transmute it and a portal to the Cow Level appears, there are hordes or cows here, be warned, once you kill the Cow King, you cannot go there again on that difficulty so you can go there 3 times, once on each difficulty if you kill him. However if you do not kill the Cow King, you can keep going there and get lots of items and gold.

In single player
Type "/players x" (without quotes)(X= a number between 1 and 8)
eg. /players 4
The game changes the difficulty depending on how high the number is. (1 being the easiest, 8 being the hardest.)
It's the same effect as being on B Net and having more than 1 player. The game's enemies get harder, drop better, and give more experience. This also affects bosses, so the /players 8 on Hell Mephisto's drops are incredible.
This doesn't effect immunities on monsters, and works in all Difficulties and all Acts.
Code Effect /players 7 Extremely hard to kill monsters /players 3 Good difference /players 5 Hard monsters /players 2 Little difference in Difficulty /players 8 Maximum diffculty/Nigh impossible to kill monsters /players 1 No effect /players 6 Very difficult to kill monsters /players 4 Very noticable difference

Note: you can type in all of these codes again after they are in effect to turn them off. If it is one of the /players cheats then you have to type in the code "/players 1" to set it back to 1.
Code Effect soundchaosdebug Every sound at once. /fps Show frames per second. /nopickup Won't let you pick up items unless you press ALT. This helps in cluttered areas with a lot of lag.

Secret Cow Level
Just like the Secret Cow Level in the original Diablo II, the Secret Cow Level is in LoD as well. You must have beaten Baal on the difficulty you want to make the portal for though.
1. Go to Rogue Encampment
2. Insert a Wirt's Leg and a Tome of Townsportal into the Cube and Transmute.
3. Enter Portal.
4. Fight Cows.
The cows CAN be difficult to kill with melee characters, so be careful. Paladins and Sorceresses are always helpful here.
The cows do not give good experience, but the chances of finding good runes/gems/equipment is better than most places. Also, most of the ''stashes'' and ''chests'' here are good drops as well.
WARNING: If you want to make the portal again, DO NOT KILL THE COW KING. If the Cow King is killed in a game where you made the portal, you WILL NOT be able to make the portal for that difficulty anymore.
