Where can I find Leshach Halcyon?
I'm trying to get the Durandal, and I'm stuck on the Leshach Halcyon. I know which enemy has it, and I know where to find him. I just can't get it to spawn. I know it only appears in blizzard conditions. What exactly are "blizzard conditions"? Does that mean it just has to be snowing, or does it have to be a complete white out? I spent two hours running back and forth between the two areas in Paramina Rift that it's supposed to appear in and didn't find a single one. Is there some kind of trick to make him appear, or am I just extremely unlucky?

I think this will give you what you want in the most efficient manner. You will be in a permanent blizzard all the way.
Start at the Mt. Bur-Omisace Teleport Crystal. Move into the Paramania Rift - Freezing Gorge and travel to the right down the ridge. At the second interesction, go left down the path to the Head of the Silverflow area. Continue moving to the right and then go to the left to enter the Icebound Flow area. The Lesach Entite will appear in this area, usually toward the end closest to the boundary with the Karydine Glacier area. So, travel left around the arc to reach the boundary with the Karydine Glacier area.
Now steal from Lesach Entite to attempt to get the Halcycon. (You will generally get one or more of Ice Crystal, Feystone and Halcycon.) After the steal, press R2 and run back across the border with the Karydine Glacier area to reset the Entite. Reenter and steal again. The blizzard is always active and the Entite always there.
With time, you are certain to get a Halcyon. Having Thief Cuffs equipped on two characters and doing a "double steal" each time pretty much ensures that you will get something on every steal attempt. Use the third character to do something like cast Shell on itself if you need insurance that the Entite will not clobber you before you escape. That way, the Entite will cast "Silence" before any black magic which gives you additional time to get back across the boundary.
Hope this is not too late to help you.

Leshach Entite (Paramina Rift/Head Of The Silverflow,
Icebound Flow): There must be blizzard conditions
for this entite to appear. Once found, equip Thief's cuffs and
proceed to steal from the entite. A 3/6% chance to steal, and
a 3% drop. If you do not steal the Halcyon from the entite,
then zone away one screen and come back. It will return to
neutral status, and you can then attempt to steal the
Halcyon again. Available after the events at Henne Mines.
Check out the Ultimate Weapons/Gear faq on here. It is uber helpful when going for the best equiptment.

Sorry, didn't read your post completely, the blizzard conditions are when the Paramina areas have a major snow storm effect going on. You'll notice that its harder to see in the areas. Just keep zoning in and out from one of the other areas (Feywood I think is closest to the Paramina Rift) Whatever the jungle area that is to the upper left corner of Paramina, just keep going in and out of there until you notice that its whiter and a lot harder to see, with lots of snow coming down. Alternately, if you've accepted the fafner hunt then you can talk to the partitioner in Mt Bur Ominecense and it'll automatically trigger the right conditions.

I always had the best luck one zoning between feywood and the rift. Leshach Entite appears in that area, in case you have a hard time discerning blizzard conditions.

If you still want more info or want to know something else, you should look up an FAQ.
It should be in the Hints and Cheats section.
It'll go into detail on what you want to know.
If you press ctrl + F and put in what you're looking for you'll find it faster.
Hope this helps. :D

if your still having truble in getting a snowstorm what u can do is instead of walking u can take the chocobo & that usually helps me in getting what ever i need like rain, snow, sun, extra... & going to feywood & if u have ur sound up loudenough for u to hear it u will hear a loud wind blowing thats how u can tell if u got a snowstorm or not, & using Thief Cuffs equipped even on just 1 character does wonders & just doing 1 zone u do steal a lot of ice crystals/ice stones/faystone but i hope this helps in getting a snowstorm. =)
