"Perfect platformer"

Jak and his best friend Daxter go to Misty Island cause they were warned not to by Samos the green sage. While on the island they see two mysterious people and a bunch of monsters. They continue looking around and find a big pool of black stuff known as Dark Eco. Someone appears behind them scaring Jak, which causes him to knock Daxter into the Dark Eco. Daxter flies out of the stuff and is now some kind of furry animal. At first he doesn't notice but when he does he starts crying and throwing a fit. They go back to the green mages hut and he tells them of a person who might be able to cure Daxter. So now you're off trying to find a cure. The story is pretty good and is full of funny moments which are usually caused by Daxter since Jak never speaks. The characters are all interested and there is even a surprising plot twist near the end. I give story a 10/10

Almost perfect. Jak has a bunch of moves and they are all easy to do. He can spin, jump, double jump, punch, butt smash, roll, roll jump and even throw fire when he finds a thing of yellow eco. The only problem with control is that doubling jumping doesn't work unless you hit it at exactly the right moment, this caused me many deaths. I give control a 9/10

Voice Acting, Sound Effects and Music
While Jak never talks everyone else in the game does. Everyone has a great voice that fits the way they look and adds a lot to the whole feel of the game and Daxter is one funny guy. The sound effects are top notch, snakes makes a slithering sound when moving, water splashes, things explode they sound sound great! The music is very good and also sets the mood of the game. It has this great cartoon-ish feel to it. I give voice acting, sound effects and music a 10/10

Game play
Wow... That's all I can say. The game play is amazing. Unlike most platformers there is a reason to collecting all the items and there is a lot of them. There are 101 power cells in the game, you get these from people for doing different tasks or just finding them in different places. There is also 2000 Precursor Orbs you give these too people for power cells. The tasks are all very cool and most of them aren't a like. One might have you beat a race time while another has you activating a under sea thing so it rises out of the water. It's always fun to see what will happen in the game. There is a pretty good amount of different enemies you fight along the way but there could have been a little more. The world is amazing, you can stand up on a tower and see islands way across the ocean without the fog or any other effects most games use. There also isn't any loading times at all except for a split second while using a warp tunnel if you don't feel like walking all the way back to where the different places. There is also a lot of areas to go through and you can even beat the game and still have missed a whole area! There are a couple mini games here and there and they are a blast. The fishing one is hard at first but addictive, the shooting one is really hard also but really fun once you get the hang of it. Some stages have you on a zoomer, a bike of sorts, these stages are some of the hardest cause you can die very easily, Another part of same stages is riding on this blue bird thing which is pretty cool to do. Spread around the world are eco vents and blobs. There are three kinds of eco, Blue Eco will make you faster and can make things explode and can make certain platforms and doors open. Red Eco makes your attacks stronger and yellow eco lets you shoot out fireball which is very cool. The time even changes on the game and you can even get up on a high place and watch the sun rise, very cool. All in all the game play is great the only problem is it is rather short but don't let that ruin the chance of playing this great game. I give game play a 10/10

Replay Value
There is a lot to collect here and it takes a while if you don't know what to do. There are two endings, the normal one and one for getting 100 or 101 power cells, the special ending is slightly disappointing. The game is on the short side, it will take most games around 15 hours. The game is very fun and the only thing that could make it funner would be some more mini games and being able to play the ones after you get a power cell from them. Since the game is short it's a great game that you can play after beating it and feel like it's a brand new adventure.

Final Score
I give Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy a 10/10
