  3. The PS2 can't use the internet as a browser or in game. Sony 1) shut down all of the online game servers some time ago, and 2) made no such add-on to the PS2 that'd make it capable to browse the internet.
    Plus, there's already a lot squeezed into the PS2. You don't need to have an internet browser in there, unless you want a frozen game due to lack of memory.

  4. There was a port of the Dreamcast web browser on PS2 called EGBrowser (sounds like EZ Browser to the Japanese). There is also a web browser built into the Japanese PSBBN hard drive interface software, and a web browser on the original UK Network Adapter setup disc. A Linux Kit would also give you access to Linux, and all the web browsers available for it, but you need a non-slim PS2 for that.
