They have something called "Wildcards" that give you different upgraded arrangements. I'll list them for you and what they do:
Perk 1 Greed: Let's you take a second 1st Perk (Blue Perks).
Example: If you're a sniper and you want extra coverage from being detected then apply this Wildcard so that you can have both Blind Eye (Blue Perk) and Ghost (Blue Perk). Blind Eye makes you undetectable by AI controlled air support, while Ghost makes you undetectable by enemy UAV's while moving, planting or defusing bombs, or while controlling score streaks.
Perk 2 Greed: Let's you take a second Perk (Green Perks).
Example: Same as Perk 1 Greed except it's for the Green Perks.
Perk 3 Greed: Take a second Perk 3 (Red Perks).
Example: Same as above, just for 3rd perks.
Overkill: Take a Primary weapon as your secondary weapon.
Secondary Gunfighter: Take a secondary attachment for your second weapon.
Primary Gunfighter: Take a third attachment for you primary weapon.
Tactician: Take a tactical grenade in place of your lethal grenade.
Danger Close: Take a second lethal grenade.
So these "Wildcards give you a little more extra edge in battle. It's more firepower for players who usually don't use other equipment and they can replace those equipment for other more useful things. The catch is that you can only have 10 pieces of equipment at once. Thus what I was saying about replacing certain equipment for others. It's a lot of customization for those who want specific things.
