    Introduction

Welcome to Warhawk's walkthrough for Digimon: All Star Rumble for the PlayStation3 and Xbox360. While this is the first Digimon game I played and thought that I would attempt to write a walkthrough for it as nobody else probably will write one for it anyways. As a fan of Digimon franchise since around the time that it all started with the show back in the late 90s to early 2000s. Although never having a chance to play any of the others as I thought that this could be the first one to try out. Here is to hoping that I can cover all that I can do for this game and that I don't leave anything out.

    Walkthrough

    Chapter One: Digital Plains

As the first stage starts off and we'll have Neemon being the commentator for the tournament as you progress throughout the game. Make your way forward as there'll be a couple of wooden barrels to break as there'll be a couple coins in there known as Bits. The silver coins are worth 10 Bits and the gold coins are worth 20 Bits. As you make your way further there'll be more barrels and some crates that you can destroy for more bits. Once you do that make your way forward and you'll come to an area that'll block you off as you'll have to face off with a wave of enemies but watch out for which Digimon that'll pop up when you get in an area that'll get blocked off. For the first area there'll be at least a couple waves of ShellNumemon to deal with. Defeat them to earn more bits, SP or even a recovery item. Each enemy that you defeat and what you get from them if anything will be at random so keep your eye out in case you get a health item and if you really need to get it. If you get any SP it'll range depending on the Digimon that you defeat. Once the ShellNumemon have been defeated the gate will lower and you'll be presented with a chest, break it to get a Gold Bar that's worth 100 Bits. The more Bits that you earn will help go towards purchasing Digicards that you can't earn in story and must be purchased in the store at the main menu.

Get through the gateway and as you make your way through there'll be more ShellNumemon to deal with as you make your way through to the next area. After you make it past them there should be a barrel that you can to get a coin and there should be a switch that you have to activate to lower the gate so you can face off against the Digimon in this stage. Keep in mind that depending on the Digimon that you're playing as there'll be more than likely face off against a different Digimon. Although there is also a chance that with some you may go against the same Digimon compared to other Digimon.

As Agumon / Dorulumon / Wormmon

    Digimon: Gomamon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Point Battle
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

The first battle is a Point Battle and you have three minutes to do what you can to win. For a point battle what you need to do is to defeat your opponent as many times as you can in the time limit. Each time that you win you'll earn two points for each victory that you get over your opponent but each time that you lose you'll lose a point. The best thing to do is try to stay one step ahead of your opponent and depending on which Digimon that you are squaring off against. Gomamon will do what he can to put up a fight but have to watch out in case he gets enough EP to Digivolve to become Plesiomon. If he Divivolves you have to watch out as he'll do what he can to be near you to do damage to you to either try tieing it up or getting the point to where you lose the fight in the final scoring. During the fight there'll be a chance to get a power up in three locations and can range anywhere from restoring your health, being able to Digivolve without having to wait for the meter to fill up, a wind assisted attack, and another being able to help out by turning your opponent into a Numemon for a short period of time.

Note: If playing through as Agumon/Dorulumon/Veemon the first playthrough, winning the fight will unlock Gomamon in the character select screen if he isn't already unlocked.

As Shoutmon / Veemon / Gabumon

    Digimon: Tentomon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Point Battle
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Depending on whom you bring to this battle to face off against Tentomon. If you have Veemon you better get familiar with each of his moves or you may be in for a little bit of a hard fight and may be losing a fight or two against Tentomon. Although if you have someone like Shoutmon for the fight it can be easier for a beginner player to try to stay on Tentomon with close quarters moves against Tentomon. During the fight watch out for the Super Shocker move with that being one of the moves he'll be trying to use the most if he gets a chance of using any against you. Although just like most battles in the game if Tentomon has a chance to digivolve he'll be doing what he can to stay near you so he can do as much damage to you so he can gain the two points while you lose a point to either come out on top or put the fight in a draw by the time that the time runs out. As far as the power ups that you get during the fight are so random so it's hard saying which one will pop up when it charges but should be easy to know which one it'll come up at. One tip that I can give that no matter which Digimon that you choose be careful when attacking so that your back isn't facing them when you try to attack.

Note: If playing through as Shoutmon/Veemon the first playthrough, winning the fight will unlock Tentomon in the character select screen if he isn't already unlocked.

    As Guilmon / Tentomon

    Digimon: Biyomon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Point Battle
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Given the fact on how Biyomon can try to be a pain in the rear to fight against as she tries to be on you even this early in the game but with the big area that you have you'll have the room to break away to plan a counter attack against her if any close quarters moves fail against her to get some breathing room to do any long range moves if possible. While you'll have the three power ups that'll regenerate after they're picked up and hoping that if Biyomon tries to get lot of hits on you that you'll get something for your health if needed or get the wind power up to help get lot of hits on her and if possible trap her to where she keeps falling on you with the power up still going to do decent damage on her until it wears off. If you have that power up and when it wears off you want to be close but not too close ready to do some close quarters combat to do damage to her when she's up and able to get those valuable hits in on her.

Note: If playing through as Guilmon/Tentomon the first playthrough, winning the fight will unlock Biyomon in the character select screen if he isn't already unlocked.

    As Gatomon

    Digimon: Agumon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Point Battle
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

For this fight using long range moves would be best for the fight and little bit of close quarters combat mixed in to help beat Agumon as you may have to watch out for Agumon's Spitfire Blast during the fight. During the fight it may seem at times Agumon may be a bit of a push over but he'll do what he needs to do to try and dish it right back at you if you get too close or even sloppy during the fight. Keeping to long range moves to your advantage and trying not to use too much of the SP for the battle before having to do some close quarters combat to help get it back up when possible. Keeping to this and trying to see what Agumon's moves will be during the fight will help you get him down score wise within the three minutes.

    As Biyomon

    Digimon: Veemon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Point Battle
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Fighting Veemon at this point in the game he does't seem to be as aggressive during the fight but he may get some hits in on you during the fight. Although you should be able to do lot of close quarters combat against him during the fight with a hin of long ranged attacks during the fight along with using the power ups during the fight. In a way fighting Veemon in the first stage can be similar to when fighting Gabumon in the first couple of states not much of a threat as the battle goes on and may even get to where you can do a perfect battle against him where he won't be able to take you down a notch forcing you to lose a point while he gains his two. So in other words this shouldn't be too much of a hassle to get past him here unless he starts trying to pull some moves out that you don't plan of him getting in before the fight is over.

    As Impmon

    Digimon: Wormmon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Point Battle
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Doing the fight against Impmon shouldn't be too difficult but the only problem that being able to get to the power ups to help out in any way could prove to be a little difficult due to how slow Wormmon moves when you try to grab one to help earn your points to win the fight. One of the main things to do against Impmon is to stay on him as much as you can with close quarters combat fighting with Thread Punch or Silk Thread if you have some distance between you and Impmon to pull of the Silk Thread. Most of the string shot based attacks should be effective against him and if you're lucky to get him in the air then do one of the Air Battle moves that can help get more damage done to Impmon during the battle. Another thing to do is to try to make sure that Impmon don't get any of the power ups due to Wormmon being the slowest to get to any of them in time without Impmon trying to get ahead of you to get them. Playing through as Wormmon and doing these battles will be a challenge for those who go through Story Mode with him but mostly when it'll come to the last level possibly being the hardest some if not most of the people that may try this game out. Trying to do some distance moves can help out but mostly try sticking to the close quarter moves to get the job done here. If you have beat Story Mode with like Veemon and having a chance to use Imperialdramon FM for the digivolved form for Wormmon it may help to make up for Wormmon's slowness in the fight.

Note: If Impmon is unlocked and Wormon isn't at this point this, winning the fight he will be unlocked.

    As Gomamon

    Digimon: Gabumon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Point Battle
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

When going against Gabumon shouldn't be too hard to do since it seems to be easy but not too easy to go against him and being able to whip out lot of close quarters moves on him but giving some space before he gets up so you can go right back to dishing out more moves. In case he starts getting any moves in on you you want to go for an attack break as long as you have enough SP to do so to get moves in on him from behind. As usual make sure to keep an eye on the digivolve meter so if and when he's able to digivolve try to avoid any attacks by blocking or trying to stay away as much as you can especially if the meter gets back up there for him to pull off Metal Wolf Claw as it'll be Gabumon's way of trying to either even up the score or put him in the cat bird seat if the time starts running low. If that happens forcing the fight to either a loss or a draw. The best thing to do in this fight against Gabumon is do as much damage as you can to get your score up there so that way when the time starts running low he won't be able to do much to even up the score, no matter how hard he tries to.

    Chapter Two: Proton Shrine

Here comes stage two of the game and probably the shortest in the whole game. Make your way up through and you'll fight a wave of a few ShellNumemon and there'll be a couple crates along with a barrel to break. Once that the ShellNumemon have been dealt with continue on as there'll be another wave of ShellNumemon but this time they have Apemon in the mix as well. Watch out if you get too close to Apemon as he'll use his bone to smash on the ground to do damage do you. You can either avoid it by walking away from it or block it. Once that you get past them a chest will appear for a gold bar worth 100 Bits. Head onward to flip the switch and break the crate to earn 15 Bits. Now that the switch has been activated head down to where the gate has been lowered to face off against the Digimon of this stage.

    As Agumon

    Digimon: Veemon
    HP: 10000
    Battle Type: Survival
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

As you go against Veemon in a Survival Battle and the point of this one is to try to last three rounds against him. Upon fighting him as he'll be one of the Digimon that'll be putting up a fight against you and better be on your toes as best as you can. %uFFFD One of the things you have to be careful of is that the round doesn%uFFFDt come down to a draw. I say that because you don't want to have a draw happen in case you want to have the whole battle to come down to a draw. The best part is you don't have to worry about a timer counting down and you can take as long as you need but as there's only one power up that you can get during the fight at a time. You have to do your best to stay on Veemon during the battle but when you get him down for a bit to walk away if you do any close quarter combat agaist him. If you manage to Digivolve you should be able to deal more damage to him and get him to lose the three rounds to be able to advance to the next level.

Note: If playing through as Agumon the first playthrough, winning the fight will unlock Veemon in the character select screen if he isn't already unlocked.

    As Shoutmon / Gatomon

    Digimon: Biyomon
    HP: 9500
    Battle Type: Survival
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Going against Biyomon can be a challenge as you face off against her as she is one of those that will attempt to stay on you as much as she can even in such a small fighting area like this and while there's only one part where you can get a power up. Typically I would suggest doing some close quarters but you can do so in the fight but try not to depend too much on it for this fight as you may want to include more long ranged attacks if you're able to do so during the fight. During the fight can be a little difficult to figure out what she'll be doing but blocking may be effective for the fight when needed. Also if you get a chance to digivolve you want to try to work up doing the big move against Biyomon if possible to help make the fight a little easier on you to get through it but have to make sure it makes contact instead of being blocked.

Note: If playing through Shoutmon for your first time through Biyomon will be unlocked after winning the fight.

As Dorulumon / Impmon / Biyomon

    Digimon: Gabumon
    HP: 10000
    Battle Type: Survival
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

    As Gabumon / Tentomon

    Digimon: Dorulumon
    HP: 12000
    Battle Type: Survival
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

As it pertains to Dorulumon and fighting against him is watching out for the Drill Bit Blitz move that he'll use from a distance to do damage to you. Doing close quarters combat against him may be the best option that you'll have during the fight as you don't need to stray from him as long as he has enough to do the Drill Bit Blitz against you at a distance. Alternatively he'll use Drill Tornado against you and about the only other move he may get out during the fight other than Claw Scratch and Charge. When he gets close using Attack Break will help in the tough situation but when you do make your way away then try going in if possible to attack him. Keep doing the close quarters more compared to range attacks but ranged can help if those attacks are more for you than close quarters is for the fight. Stay close to him but when he takes enough damage to be defeated and respawn, you need to be far away from the respawn point before you head in to do more attacks against him. Stick to this and he'll go down for the count.

    As Veemon

    Digimon: Guilmon
    HP: 11500
    Battle Type: Survival
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Fighting against Guilmon should be fairly easy to do as he'll try to mix it up but will be doing mostly close quarters moves against you. Have to watch out for the Pyro Sphere as he'll try to work that one in from time to time if you're at a certain distance. In terms of what to use against Guilmon by doing close quarters mostly and use any ranged attacks if the Digimon you're using have any to use at their disposal and if you have enough SP to pull off the ranged attack. During the fight plan your attack ahead even the close quarters moves and using the Attack Break to bail yourself out of a wail of attacks if Guilmon does start whipping you good. Usually when fighting Guilmon chance of getting his meter up there to digivolve is slim but if he does watch out as usual they are on you to get whatever hits they can on you before they dedigivolve. Best thing to do is to have them down two before they have a chance to get you down one so you'll have a better shot at getting the fight over with as soon as possible.

Note: If playing through as Veemon and Guilmon isn't unlocked by now he'll be unlocked after winning this fight.

    As Gomamon

    Digimon: Shoutmon
    HP: 8500
    Battle Type: Survival
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Whenever it comes to fighting Shoutmon you want to be on your guard as he'll more than likely try fighting you in close quarters combat whenever necessary so be prepared to block if you don't go in to get any hits on him during the fight. As long as you stay on him and try to do what you can to keep him at bay with trying to get any hits on you there could be a chance he won't get his bar up enough to digivolve to do what he needs to do to take you down a round. Using the Attack Break if you have enough SP to use it if he gets too much on you but at this point he shouldn't be too much of a problem so only use the Attack Break if you really need to use it. Mostly if he is able to digivolve would be a good time to use it to help get away from him. This is probably one of the easier fights against Shoutmon that you may come across in the game as he'll be a pain in the latter levels depending on the Digimon you have.

    As Wormmon

    Digimon: Gabumon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Survival
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Fighting against Gabumon using Wormmon can be a challenge due to having the fan in the background and knowing how slow Wormmon can move. Just like most of the fights that you do against Gabumon during the fight watch out for the Horn Attack and Blue Buster moves with that being one of the moves he'll be trying to use the most if he gets a chance of using any against you. Although just like most battles in the game if Gabumon has a chance to digivolve he'll be doing what he can to stay near you so he can do as much damage to you so he can take you down where you only have two chances left to win. As far as the power ups that you get during the fight are so random so it's hard saying which one will pop up when it charges but should be easy to know which one it'll come up at. One tip that I can give that no matter which Digimon that you choose be careful when attacking so that your back isn't facing them when you try to attack.

    As Guilmon

    Digimon: Agumon
    HP: 10000
    Battle Type: Survival
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Agumon will try sticking to close quarters combat but like when fighting against Guilmon that he'll try to get some ranged attacks in on you. You want to make sure that when doing fighting in close quarters that you want to get the attacks in before he has a chance to get any of his in to do the damage to him before he can do any to you and try to keep damage to a minimal dealt on you. There may be a chance that Agumon will digivolve during the battle but won't be much of a chance of doing so during the battle but try to make sure that it won't be until he is close to defeat if you are able to make sure it happens that way. Stick to with the close quraters and the occasional ranged attacks to get the job done during the battle especially the charged ranged attacks.

    Chapter Three: Factory Town

From the start of the stage there'll be a couple crates and a barrel to smash for Bits. Afterwards head on through the door and you'll see a chest that you can break open but this time you'll earn a Digicard for your effort. Each of the Digimon that you play through will earn you a different Digicard from the chest. Also depending on the Digimon that you play through as will determine if the card can be applied during a fight against the Digimon at the end of each stage. You want to read what the effects are so that way you don't apply one that has "No Effect" on it as those ones are there probably for show. Make your way past a gate only to deal with a couple waves of Goblimon before you can advance to the next area of the stage. %uFFFD Once you done that you can make your way and seeing another chest but it'll have a coin for more Bits to earn with a couple Goblimon to deal with. Once you do that make your way to the left to deal with another wave of Goblimon to deal with. %uFFFD Upon you get past them head through the gate to the right of the area that you entered then to the right again as you want to hit the button jump to get up to where you need to go. There'll be a switch to activate and it'll lower the gate where you fought the third wave of Goblimon but before you head back that way drop down then head to the left to bust the crate for a health upgrade if you need it. If you don't need it, head to the right then drop down to head to the area that you need to go to to face off with a wave of Goblimon once again. Once that they're down for the count then you'll have another wave of Goblimon to deal with and finally a Tortomon before you can deal with before going on to the boss Digimon of the stage. Upon defeating the Tortomon a chest will appear and you should be able to get another Digicard for your effort. Now make your way to where you have to face off against the boss Digimon.

    As Agumon / Wormmon

    Digimon: Tentomon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Battling against Tentomon, the one move that you'll have to watch out for is the Super Shocker move. Although this fight there is a three minute time limit on it and the point of this fight is to do as much damage as you can to increase your score. Each time when you do damage the amount of damage that you do will be put in as your score. Watch out in case Tentomon has a chance to digivolve into Kabuterimon as he won't go without letting you have a chance to get a breather in if you need it. The best thing to try to do is to stay on him as best as you can in close quarters combat along with trying to get any of the power ups before he has a chance to get them. Before I forget is that in this fight zone you have to watch out for when the fan comes on and doesn't push you to where you can fall down then to be put near the fan groggy allowing your opponent to get some free hits on you.

Note: If playing through as Agumon the first playthrough, winning the fight will unlock Tentomon in the character select screen if he isn't already unlocked.

As Shoutmon / Guilmon / Tentomon

    Digimon: Dorulumon
    HP: 12000
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Fighting against Dorulumon in this battle is somewhat of a challenge but have to watch out for a few of his close quarters moves that he can dish out on you and if you get caught in them do what you can to either block or escape out of it. While having to worry about the fan blowing you down to the other end but have to be careful of the hole down there in case you fall down it giving your opponent a few seconds to get some moves in on you in attempt to win the battle for them. For the most part close quarters combat will do for this fight with occasional long ranged attacks can help out if you sustained too much damage at any given moment. While attempting to keep to this strategy you should be able to beat Dorulumon and the power ups can help assist as long as you manage to get them before your opponent has a chance to pick it up to use it against you.

    As Gomamon

    Digimon: Agumon
    HP: 10000
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Agumon will try sticking to close quarters combat but like when fighting against Guilmon that he'll try to get some ranged attacks in on you. You want to make sure that when doing fighting in close quarters that you want to get the attacks in before he has a chance to get any of his in to do the damage to him before he can do any to you and try to keep damage to a minimal dealt on you. As Gatomon

    Digimon: Gabumon
    HP: 10000
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Even at this early in the game as Gabumon can be a little more of a challenge but not by much to face off against in the game depending on whom you may have in the game to face him at this point in the game. During the fight he'll try coming on as a little more aggressive on the close quarters as you want to try to block or use an Attack Cancel as that goes on. As usual he'll be trying to use the Horn Attack or Blue Buster against you so watch out for those moves along with digivolving to Weregarurumon and tries to stay on you to the point where he may try using his ultimate move on you dealing lot of damage to you. At this point if you digivolve he'll be trying to run away from you and need to try to get near him to do damage to him to help out in getting your score up there to win this fight. If you manage to go back to the normal form and near him as this would be a good time in case he's down to do damage to him the moment he gets back up. I would recommend being a few feet away from him so if he tries doing any moves you can block or move away to get at him.

    As Biyomon

    Digimon: Gomamon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Using Biyomon in the fight against Biyomon can be easy when fighting against Gomamon. The best thing to do is try to stay one step ahead of your opponent and depending on which Digimon that you are squaring off against. Gomamon will do what he can to put up a fight but have to watch out in case he gets enough EP to Digivolve to become Plesiomon. If he Divivolves you have to watch out as he'll do what he can to be near you to do damage to you to either try tying it up or getting the point to where you lose the fight in the final scoring. During the fight there'll be a chance to get a power up in three locations and can range anywhere from restoring your health, being able to Digivolve without having to wait for the meter to fill up, a wind assisted attack, and another being able to help out by turning your opponent into a Numemon for a short period of time.

    As Gabumon

    Digimon: Biyomon
    HP: 9500
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

    As Dorulumon

    Digimon: Wormmon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

As it pertains to fighting Wormmon or as the one character in the show called him "Fish Bait." For the most part he'll try to do close quarters combat moves against you but will try to get in a few ranged moves in against you but if he digivolves to Stingmon he'll try to work on you more compared to when being just Wormmon. Best thing to do during the fight is to try be aggressive if possible against him and not letting him have much of a chance to fight back against you, although don't let his small size fool you in any way cause he can be one tough little bugger if you're not careful. Also it will help if you use some long ranged attacks on Wormmon to deal damage to him but make sure that you have enough SP to do any of those moves. If not it'll be time to go back to doing close quarters against him again. Keep doing this will help win the fight.

    As Impmon

    Digimon: Gatomon
    HP: 9500
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

When fighting Gatomon is similar to fighting Biyomon but don't compare to Biyomon. Gatomon will try getting some close quarters combat in but the main thing you'll have to watch out for is the Cat Laser that she'll be using during the battle and if you can predict when she'll use it then throw out a block if you're not out of the way of it. Staying on here for this kind of fight will help out if you stay close quarters and only giving breathing room when she needs to get up to try fighting back. She'll try to get some moves in if you go about fighting against her aggressively and may use the Attack Break if you have enough SP to use it. Although the fan when it comes on will try pushing you towards the end where there's a pit and if you fall down it'll give Gatomon some time to get some hits in so try getting her down it if you want to get some free hits in.

    As Veemon

    Digimon: Shoutmon
    HP: 8500
    Battle Type: Damage Race
    Time Limit: 3:00.00
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

    Chapter Four: Digital Station

At the start there'll be a couple crates and a barrel that you can smash for some bits. Once you get them make your way to the belt but there'll be a wave of Goblimon to deal with before you have a chance to do so. The moment that they're dealt with you can make your way onto the belt but watch out for the press as they'll come down and do some damage to you. You'll want to go to the one on the right to get to where you have to go faster but about half way you'll notice that there's a little area as. Make your way back out on the belt and continue on to the end and when you do there'll be another wave of Goblimon to deal with before you can advance any further. When the Goblimon are defeated it'll be time to square off against a Cyclonemon, a one eyes Digimon but watch out for its blaster. Try to get it to fire then get out of the way to do damage to it and keep to this as it will go down so you can advance. When the two side gates are lowered go to the right to break the chest for a Digicard, and then make your way to the other side then up to get on the spring jump to activate the switch to lower the gate. Once you do that head on down and go on to face the Digimon of the stage.

    As Agumon

    Digimon: Shoutmon
    HP: 8500
    Battle Type: Bomb Battle
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Similar to the Survival battle but this time around you'll have a bomb hanging not only your head but also your opponent. As you do damage to your opponent to knock them down for a round but if you manage to make the bomb blow before you have a chance to finish off your opponent the bomb will explode and finish him/her off with no problem. Although during the battle if you manage to get on the train tracks watch out just in case you start seeing the lights flashing signaling that a train is coming and if you get hit you'll be put back up on the platform groggy for a few seconds or so. When facing against Shoutmon you will have to watch out for this bugger as he'll have his microphone with him during the battle and have to keep in mind that he may be using moves where he can use it to his advantage so keeping your distance at times may help on taking him down. If he manages to digivolve to OmniShoutmon then that's when I'd be worried about getting a good amount of damage done to you if he fires at you during the time that he's digivolved. One of the best ways to deal with Shoutmon and the Bomb Battle is to try treating it like a Survival Battle. There is one small note for this battle is that if you defeat your opponent before the bomb has a chance to explode and you happen to be near it make sure to get away from it before it explodes to do damage to you as well.

    As Shoutmon

    Digimon: Guilmon
    HP: 11500
    Battle Type: Bomb Battle
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

If you have watched Digimon Tamers you'll know that while Guilmon may seem like childlike but he does have some power that he can dish out and use it to his advantage if he needs to in the given moment. During the fight I'd suggest try going close quarters once again for this fight but the time that I wouldn't recommend being near Guilmon is when the bomb starts flashing red. Although when it starts flashing rapidly is when I'd be trying to stay away from him so that way when it explodes and does some damage to putting him down one in the scoring for the battle. One move that he'll be doing is the Pyrosphere and while a medium ranged attack so be sure to be as far back in case he does it or block it if you're close by. While two power ups for this fight as they switch between on top of a train car and the other being on the rail but if you can get the one on the rail be sure that the red lights aren't flashing signaling that a train is on its way. If you get hit you'll be set back on the platform groggy and giving Guilmon a chance to get any hits in if he's able to before you can start moving around again. As mentioned earlier close quarters combat whether you're facing him or if you do the Attack Cancel move to get behind Guilmon. There is one thing is that if he's near you if your bomb starts flashing that you can try using it to your advantage if it can explode doing damage to him in the process.

    As Gatomon / Guilmon

    Digimon: Veemon
    HP: 10000
    Battle Type: Bomb Battle
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Veemon at this point in this game would be in the middle of being aggressive as there will be times it may seem like he won't let up in the close quarter combat trying to do lot of damage to you. If that happens, use the Attack Cancel move to work your way out of it behind him to get some moves on him to get back for doing the same to you. As usual try to keep an eye on his bomb as well as yours so in case if his starts flashing quickly you can get away but try to damage him if yours is to do the same. The worst thing that could happen is that both explode taken you both down taking you both down that much less of a chance of winning this fight. Best thing to do is to try to stay ahead of Veemon as much as you can and not let him get that many hits in even if resorting to lot of long ranged moves to get the job done. While close quarters would be good if you need to but mostly if Veemon is groggy after getting hit by the train giving you a couple of seconds to get any hits in. Veemon's attack pattern can be a little difficult to learn at times if you're not careful.

As Veemon / Gabumon / Dorulumon

    Digimon: Gatomon
    HP: 9500
    Battle Type: Bomb Battle
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

    As Gomamon

    Digimon: Tentomon
    HP: 11000
    Battle Type: Bomb Battle
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Battling against Tentomon, the one move that you'll have to watch out for is the Super Shocker move. Although this fight there is a three minute time limit on it and the point of this fight is to do as much damage as you can to help get the bomb over your opponent to explode or by depleting their health down. Tentomon may not put up much of a fight during this battle but will try to do what he can to get some damage done to you to get you to go down if your bomb starts flashing.

    As Biyomon / Impmon

    Digimon: Agumon
    HP: 10000
    Battle Type: Bomb Battle
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Agumon will try sticking to close quarters combat but like when fighting against Guilmon that he'll try to get some ranged attacks in on you. You want to make sure that when doing fighting in close quarters that you want to get the attacks in before he has a chance to get any of his in to do the damage to him before he can do any to you and try to keep damage to a minimal dealt on you. There may be a chance that Agumon will digivolve during the battle but won't be much of a chance of doing so during the battle but try to make sure that it won't be until he is close to defeat if you are able to make sure it happens that way. Stick to with the close quarters and the occasional ranged attacks to get the job done during the battle especially the charged ranged attacks.

    As Tentomon

    Digimon: Gabumon
    HP: 10000
    Battle Type: Bomb Battle
    Rounds: 3 - 5 - Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

During the fight he'll try coming on as a little more aggressive on the close quarters as you want to try to block or use an Attack Cancel as that goes on. As usual he'll be trying to use the Horn Attack or Blue Buster against you so watch out for those moves along with digivolving to Weregurumon and tries to stay on you to the point where he may try using his ultimate move on you dealing lot of damage to you. At this point if you digivolve he'll be trying to run away from you and need to try to get near him to do damge to him to help out in getting to where his bomb explodes or depleting his health to win this fight. If you manage to go back to the normal form and near him as this would be a good time in case he's down to do damage to him the moment he gets back up. I would recommend being a few feet away from him so if he tries doing any moves you can block or move away to get at him.

    As Wormmon

    Digimon: Dorulumon
    HP: 12000
    Battle Type: Bomb Battle
    Rounds: 3 - 5
    Bits Earned: 200 - 1200 [Win] / 70 [Loss]

Fighting against Dorulumon in this battle is somewhat of a challenge but have to watch out for a few of his close quarters moves that he can dish out on you and if you get caught in them do what you can to either block or escape out of it. One of the things to watch out for is if you get on the tracks and having to worry about a Locomon hitting you if one is on its way through causing some damage to you as you return to the platform groggy. Although if you knock your opponent down there when one is coming they can get some damage done and respawn groggy. For the most part close quarters combat will do for this fight with occasional long ranged attacks can help out if you sustaned too much damage at any given moment. While attempting to keep to this strategy you should be able to beat Dorulumon and the power ups can help assist as long as you manage to get them before your opponent has a chance to pick it up to use it against you.

    Chapter Five: Native Forest

Halfway through the game and now we're at Stage Five: Native Forest. Make your way through and when you get close to an opening there'll be a wave of Mushroomon to deal with. Once you get past the Mushroomon and to the opening there'll be a wave of more Mushroomon along with an Apemon to dispose of before you can continue on your way. After defeating them a switch will appear ahead of you but as you make your way through watch out for the security that you have to slip past before you can get up there to activate the switch. When the switch has been activated make your way back to the opening and make your way through the opened gate. Although when going the other way you can pick up a Gold Bar for 100 Bits. Make your way past the recently opened gate and get on a jump spring but there'll be a wave of ShellNumemon to deal with followed by a wave of Apemon afterwards. Once that they have been dealt with destroy the chest for 100 Bits and go to the spring jump. After a bit there'll be a wave of Mushroomon and a SkullMammothmon to deal with before you can go on to the Digimon of the stage. Upon their defeat a chest will appear and bust it open for a Digicard but if you go to the left you'll find another for your health if you need it. Then make your way to fight the Digimon of the stage.

Facing off against Biyomon can be difficult depending on your skill level and have to watch it in case that she tends to stay on you if you run low on SP. One of the things is if she is near you throwing punch type moves at you with occasional special moves such as Spiral Twister. This area can make the battle seem interesting as there are two sides connected by a bridge as one of the best things to do if you want to get away from Biyomon is to go to where the power ups generate to try to get some breathing room if possible. Although harder if Biyomon digivolves to . Around the time that the battle gets to one minute remaining is when Biyomon will attempt to try to do lot of damage to you and when you have to watch out that she don't try to tie it up depending on the score. Whatever you do you want to do as much blocking as you can during the fight or even escape to where you can show up behind Biyomon to do damage to her in return. While Digivolving will allow you to do some serious damage if you can time your moves right to get as much as you can.

Note: If playing through as Agumon for your first playthrough, winning the fight will unlock Biyomon in the character select screen if she isn't already unlocked.

Going against Gomamon is what I'd call an intermediate fight in this point battle and shouldn't be too difficult battle to do but don't try underestimate him in any way especially if he's able to digivolve. During the fight I'd be suggesting to be in between close quarters as well as long ranged attacks for the fight alongside any power ups that you can get to help you out during the fight. Although to get to the power ups you'll have to get the flower to bloom by attacking it, jump on the flower and then on the platform to get it to use it. The only one where you'll have to do that to get the power ups. The main thing that I'd watch out for is Gomamon trying to get close to do close quarters combat on you so try to block or Attack Cancel if you have any SP available to do that move to attack him from behind if you find yourself in that situation. %uFFFD This isn%uFFFDt a hard to try to keep up with him depending on your skill level and being able to stay ahead of Gomamon in every way that you can.

Note: If playing through as Shoutmon for the first playthrough, winning the fight will unlock Gomamon in the character select screen if he isn't already unlocked.

Don't let this little grape face fool you, he don't look tough but he knows how to put up a fight if he needs to and watch out for his fireballs. Impmon is one for wanting to do close attacks but isn't afraid to use some long ranged attacks in case he has to and hope that he don't digivolve to Bezelmon as that's when he's at his deadlist as one that can't stay off of you during that time. Best thing to do facing Impmon in any battle is to distance yourself as much as you can or suffer some serious damage if you don't watch it. Keeping your distance, using long range attacks, blocking and some close quarters combat will work out in defeating Impmon to win the fight against him.

Note: If playing through as Gatomon for a playthrough, winning the fight will unlock Impmon in the character select screen if he isn't already unlocked.

Fighting against Dorulumon in this battle is somewhat of a challenge but have to watch out for a few of his close quarters moves that he can dish out on you and if you get caught in them do what you can to either block or escape out of it. Having somewhat of an open area connected by a bridges making getting the power up on either side a challenge if you need to get any of them to help out during the fight. For the most part close quarters combat will do for this fight with occasional long ranged attacks can help out if you sustained too much damage at any given moment. Depending on whom you bring to this battle to face off against Tentomon. Although at this point having Biyomon for the fight it can be easier for a beginner player to try to stay on Tentomon with close quarters moves against Tentomon. During the fight watch out for the Super Shocker move with that being one of the moves he'll be trying to use the most if he gets a chance of using any against you. Although just like most battles in the game if Tentomon has a chance to digivolve he'll be doing what he can to stay near you so he can do as much damage to you so he can make your bomb blow while you lose a round to try picking up the win. As far as the power ups that you get during the fight are so random so it's hard saying which one will pop up when it charges but should be easy to know which one it'll come up at. One tip that I can give that no matter which Digimon that you choose be careful when attacking so that your back isn't facing them when you try to attack.

By this point you should know that Veemon will do close quarters combat during the first and trying to do the headbutt move the most if he's able to do it during the fight. Both close quarters and ranged attacks will do when this far in the game if you have any difficulty in the later stages when you first start off against the Digimon at the end of these levels later on in the game. If you're low on health by the time the fight begins and if the Digimon you have has good range attacks start off with a few of those if possible then try getting in as close as you can to get some close quarters moves on him during the battle. Digivolving can help especially if the meter is full from the start of the battle and you can use that if you wish to do some big time damage at the start of the fight to help make the fight a little more in favor of you. Being one step ahead is what you need to do in the latter fights in the game and staying on top of your game making sure that you don't get too damaged before heading to the big time fights.

As you fight Gatomon it can be similar to fighting Biyomon although not as bad Biyomon. Gatomon will try getting some close quarters combat in but the main thing you'll have to watch out for is the Cat Laser that she'll be using during the battle and if you can predict when she'll use it then throw out a block if you're not out of the way of it. This could be one of the tough point battles that you do if you're not careful when fighting Gatomon as she'll try to make sure that you go down first. Best thing to do is to try to get at her more than you and when the time starts winding down to under a minute. Staying on her and doing close quarters but also blocking will help out during the fight against Gatomon in this point battle.%uFFFD Though if there's a chance that yours will blow try to make sure that Gatomon is near so damage can be done to her to help out after you respawn.

Note: If playing through as Gomamon and Gatomon isn't unlocked by now she'll be unlocked after winning this fight.
