"Naughty Dog made a masterpeice"

In Uncharted: Drakes Fortune you play as a treasure hunter Nathan Drake. Drake is the relative of Sir. Francis Drake and recovers Sir. Francis Drake's coffin. Inside the coffin was a book on how to find the treasure that Sir. Francis Drake was looking for. Soon Drake and his friend Victor Sullivan set out to find the treasure. Unfortunately Sullivan owed money to a rich British explorer that wants the treasure for himself. The man shoots Sullivan and takes the map. Drake still looks for the treasure but now the rich man's soldiers are stationed all over the island that the treasure is located on.

Story: 9/10

The story is average in the beginning and middle of the game. At the end of the game it gets a lot better. I described the beginning of the story in the intro. The treasure that Drake is looking for is El Dorado. A giant statue of gold. Drake doesn't go alone though. he has the cigar smoking Victor Sullivan and a T.V host Elena Fisher tag along. What makes the story so good is the characters. The characters are all well liked and very believable. Drake and Sullivan are hilarious and Elena is a tough determined person. As for the villains the British explorer's partner seems very shady and evil and The hired armies leader, Eddie is hilarious.

Game Play: 10/10

The game play in this game is very good. Drake has a variety of weapons to use by the end of the game including shotguns, pistols, and assault rifles. As your progress in the game the weapons get better (for example in the beginning of the game you start of with an AK-47 and moss, by the end a M4 replaces the AK-47 and a SAS replaces the moss.Drake is an expert climber and marksman so he combined the two. You can climb cliffs and shoot enemies at the same time. The climbing system works well and you hardly ever get confused at which path you take. Another cool thing about the game are the bonus features. To get the Bonus Features you must earn medals. You earn medals by getting certain numbers of kills with certain guns and by finding treasures. There are 60 treasures total. After earning enough bonus points you unlock the ability to switch to any gun at any time, get movies about developing the game, tweaks, and the ability to switch characters. The controls work great and makes great use of the PlayStation 3's dual shock controller. For example when going over logs you have to balance yourself by moving the controller around. Another example is when you throw grenades you have to move the controller to throw the grenade. The hand to hand combat is great in this game. Drake can preform stealth attacks, and brutal combos.

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics are great. The jungle terrain and ancient buildings look great. the characters look realistic. One cool thing about the graphics are you can see that the characters are wet after they go swimming. Overall the graphics are great.

Audio: 9/10

The sounds are good in this game. The guns sound realistic and you can hear the jungle environment so it feels like your actually there. The character voice acting is great and a lot of there lines are hilarious.

Replay Value: 9/10
There is replay value in this game. You will want to play again to earn all of the medals to earn the bonus features. Also there are Play Station Network trophies that you can earn.
